I think Dev will be next to go. I have never really heard good things about him and even when i had 12 months of doing earlies i never really liked listening to him as it always sounded so forced or rehearsed which is totally the opposite to Moyles' off the cuff humour for example. Reggie in for Greg, that's an interesting one, a possible test for a near schedule change?

On Wednesday morning i heard a promo for Radio 1 read by Fearne Cotton. The main starpline seemed to be listen, watch, share. I wonder whether this is going to be a new strapline used in the Summer for Radio 1 for things such as the Big Weekend etc? http://www.mediafire.com/?luca8bcgbsh501f

it's what they used though!! As well as another one that just said Gemma Cairney on BBC Radio 1, but i couldn't be bothered to find that one today.

I was pleasantly suprised with her upbeat manner and had obviously planned a lot for the show, which is a good thing! I still dont like her actual voice very much though, a bit too loud and deep for me! Good show though

plus i dare say the BBC has had to do some cutbacks and the last set of jingles must have cost an absolute fortune what with having a full orchestra etc

I used to live in Derby for about 8 years and listened to Ram FM before i got hooked on R1. I have just gone to have a look at their website and a cheeky listen and was horrified to see the dreaded Capital logo. I was pleased to see Dino and Pete had survived the cull but what about the amazing Andy Miller!?

I like the Combi wave software as it is easy to use. Does anyone know of any software like combiwave where you can assign tracks/jingles to keyboard buttons but that has the ability to record it aswell? I currently use Atomix MP3 which gives you your F keys (e.g.F5) to assign tracks/jingles to but Combiwave gives you much more choice and extra buttons to use!

My thoughts precisely! I can't imagine Chris or Fearne or Greg for that matter being very happy with having to work post 7pm! I think Greg has got very diva-ish (actual word!) recently
