I own a 360 and used to use it a lot but ever since I've turned 18 last august and discovered clubs / alcohol I've lost interest in it. The only time I ever use my 360 now is to play Fifa with a friend when he's back from Uni. I will be buying GTA IV though.

So then, we are a forum who spend a hell of a long time listening to radio 1, but we never discuss the thing which radio was made for, the music! What's been catching your attention recently? Anything obscure? Anything you would like to recommend? Say it here! I have just started listening to the "Does it Offend You, Yeah?" album and I'm quite impressed. I guess you could call it Rock / Synth, but I recommend that people listen to "We are Rockstars" by them, as that's pretty damn good. I was a little disappointed with the Foals album though. To me it all sounds the same, with "Cassius" being the only stand-out track. The rest of the album is at a slower tempo than Cassius, which left me a bit bored. I haven't had a proper listen to Pretty Odd by Panic at the Disco, but I like "Nine in the Afternoon". Does anybody know what it's like? As for last week, We are Scientists is an incredible album and worth a listen and I love HAARP (but I'm a psychotic Muse fan, so my opinion can be biased). What's everyone elses music tastes like? I'm pretty much open to anything with a pretty funky beat to it! P.S. I apologise if this has been done before.

I'm in the same situation here. All my friends have left for Uni so I'm the only one who is still living with their parents. I work full time but the average price for a 1 bed flat where I live is £180,000. These days you have to give a 20% deposit to get a mortgage, so where on earth am I going to get £36,000 from? I really don't like the idea of sharing the ownership of a place with a friend / partner, as I've heard horror stories of that turning into a disaster. I know someone who bought a place together with his on/off girlfriend, they broke up and he had to leave without a penny. He lost a fortune. For that reason I'm only interested in having a sole ownership of a property, but that obviously increases the cost! EDIT 17:01 26/03/08 Ok just out of curiosity I looked into how much a two bedroom flat in my area would cost me and the mortgage repayments that I would have to pay. I found a 2 bedroom flat for £175,000 which suited my needs quite nicely. Now to be able to buy that I would have to make a deposit of £25,000 and then pay £793 per month for 40 years to pay off the mortgage. Ok maybe I'm looking too deep into this, but the moving out subject has been happening with me for a few months now, so it's something I'm quite interested in.

I seriously hope that's not true.
