  1. There's only one episode per month, so it's not that soon. The radio 1 episode is in December I believe.
  2. So is the show any good? I had intended to watch, but my Dad decided he wanted to watch something else. It's repeated at 11, so I can watch it then easily enough, but is it worth it?
  3. If anyone's interested, this show starts tonight on Sky One at 8.00pm. For every team in the premiership, they've taken some ex-players, some celebrity fans, and some other fans, to form a team, and the teams will all compete in a knockout tournament. Celebrity fans include Chappers playing for Man U, and Colin Murray playing for Liverpool. Tonight you can see Man U v Blackburn and Man City v Everton.
  4. A Britney Spears fan who became a media sensation when a tear-filled clip of him talking about his idol was broadcast on YouTube has been offered his own TV deal. The teenager, known as Chris Crocker, was watched over eight million times when he recorded a two-minute video after critics slammed Spears' MTV Video Music Awards performance earlier this month. In the video, the openly gay 19-year-old had mascara running down his face as he shouted: "Her song is called 'Gimme More', cause all you people want is more, more, more, more, more - you're lucky she even performed for you b******s!" Crocker has since been asked to appear across TV networks in America on CNN, Fox News, the Howard Stern Show and MSNBC, and Variety reports that TV company 44 Blue Productions have now approached him to be in his own reality show. Talking about his new exposure, Crocker told Salon online: "It's kind of a whirlwind tour for me. I feel like I'm getting more exposure than Britney." He had already built up a fan base by uploading a number of videos on various topics onto his MySpace page. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/a76071/crazed-spears-fan-offered-tv-deal.html
  5. I had a feeling at least some of them would be back in November, due to the fact Children in Need is in November, and without competitions, I expect they wouldn't raise quite so much!
  6. Have you tried unplugging your box and plugging it back in? That often works for me when my channels go wonky.
  7. Yeh, as the various digital channels go, I've always quite liked UKTV G2, because it shows alot of good stuff. Not sure how I feel about saying "Put Dave on please" though lol.
  8. UKTV G2 is to relaunch next month under the name "Dave", focusing on a younger male audience with comedy and factual entertainment. The name is based on the idea that "everyone knows a bloke called Dave". http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/broadcasting/a76007/uktv-g2-becomes-dave-joins-freeview.html What do you think?!
  9. Lol, should be funny. I have to say though, I am a bit surprised that they're doing it again, because it got some quite bad press coverage last time for not raising much money if I remember correctly.
  10. :yeahthat: For me, the show is pretty much at it's best at the minute. They're realising what works and what doesn't, and playing to their strengths.
  11. Have you tried youtube maybe?
  12. Hopefully they might play it a bit later. I wanted to hear that too.
  13. I'm all depressed cos all my mates are starting uni this week but I don't start for another 3 weeks yet I would much rather start now and have some extra time off at Christmas lol.
  14. I haven't been listening today, but I heard her at some point last week, and she made some comment that I thought made it sound like she was pregnant, I can't remember the exact comment but I think it was something to do with her hormones causing mood swings lol.
  15. I pretty much agree with what she has to say, and think it's a fairly good review all round. Mind you, although it does annoy me when Scott repeats stuff, I kind of accept it, because to be fair, most people don't listen to the show as much as people on here do - I expect most people only listen for maybe half an hour while they're in the car or whatever, so repeating things make sense from that point of view. I do find it odd that she refers to Dom as Moyles' "sidekick", but refuses to even name Dave, just calling him "cohort" lol.
  16. Are you sure? Fair enough if he was, I was half asleep when listening, but they said the other week they'd be bringing back an old radio 1 feature, and I'm pretty sure they were serious when they said that.
  17. Lol, but the CD will probably be nice and pretty!
  18. The Cover Versions which have been specially recorded for Radio 1's 40th birthday will begin to be aired on Monday, with Moyles playing the 2006 track, then Jo Whiley playing the 2005 track, etc. You can view the full list of tracks here. So which tracks are you particularly looking forward to hearing?
  19. Moyles announced this morning that he's bringing back the Golden Hour (I think he said it would be starting Monday).
  20. Moyles also announced this morning that he's bringing back the Golden Hour (I think he said it would be starting Monday). Also, Moyles will play the first of the cover version songs on Monday morning, then Jo Whiley will play the next one, then Edith, etc. They're starting at 2006 and working backwards.
