Americans have to categorise everything and because British music doesn't always fit into their pre-defined categories, they just don't know what to do with it so it doesn't get played. I wouldn't want to see the same thing happen here because it would spell the end for creativity.

Its good when DJs have other members of of the team to mix things up a bit. i remember back in the day when DJs had to rely on just themselves to carry a show.....although Tony Blackburn did have a virtual dog called arnold at one point:biggrin:

i have to confess I'm also guilty of nicking a lot of Scott's catchphrases. I'm always calling my friends "treac" or "treacle" and I'm doing the "actual" thing quite regularly. God, why can't I just be more original. Thankfully, I've now grown out of "Yeah I know".

Can't stand it. He misses half the words out and then it just morphs into a totally different song (Wonderful World) which i find really irritating and, most irritating of all is that Cliff Richard also recorded it a few years ago!!!

Looks as if the Beeb wants to see itself as this all singing, and dancing multi-media experience and good luck to it. The BBC is still the best broadcaster in the country, if not the world. However, for me, TV will always be TV and radio will always be radio. Why try to redefine them?

I'm seriously considering the Muse album. never bought any of the others but I might give this one a try. I agree Razorlight are well over-hyped.

Its not very nice when families are ripped appart because one or other of the couple has an affair. Trust me on this.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I don't think the improvement in quality justifies the huge price you have to pay for a HD TV, not to mention the price of the subscription to the HD channels (which are very few and far between atm). Its just not worth it and I will be sticking to what I've got for some time yet.
