Interesting that there's a lot of emphasis on it being a three day festival. Previously there was always a dance event, but could there be more on Friday this year? They say it'll the 'biggest event in years'.

Yes I enjoy Coxy's All Request Friday but it ends up quite samey at times. Only so many times you can listen to The Proclaimers. Shame they couldn't have got Annie Nightingale to revive her show on Radio 2 sooner.

We did very well to sustain those live topics in an era before mobile internet! People had to physically login from a laptop or computer and sit and listen to the show. Very happy days! I've had too many DJs admit in recent years to visiting, but I won't name them, haha.

Such mixed emotions. Sad about him appearing on Capital after being so integral to Radio 1, but happy that he's got the job too. Moreover, fantastic that he's keeping his current team, think they'll be great together.

I feel like Sam and Danni will be the faces of Big Weekend. Last couple of years it's felt like it was Vick and Jordan, along with Greg, but I think bosses will start pushing new favourites alongside Greg.

I felt like there was more Phoebe Bridges being played that normal the last couple of weeks. That'd go down well with the alternative lot.

I'm a bit of a floating listener in the afternoons depending on where the mood takes me. Vick and Jordan were good entertainment, but I tend to go for Coxy on a Friday instead of the Chart Show. I'd be inclined to try 6Music with Huw Stephens if the Jamie and Vick thing doesn't work out.

I'm sure they mean the new station, would have been a great way to get people on board with it.
