Olivia Colman admits she got lost mid-stride during her Paris catwalk moment on Sara Cox’s show

The Sara Cox Breakfast ShowRecap of the show on

Olivia Colman had Sara Cox and listeners in stitches describing her disastrous turn on the Paris Fashion Week catwalk earlier this month. She admitted she lost sight of the model in front of her and ended up shuffling round a corner she wasn't meant to take, joking "I think everyone knew I've screwed up." Alexander Skarsgård, by contrast, was told he'd "slayed it" in his own fashion moment, despite calling his love of flashy outfits a "classic midlife crisis."

Skarsgård also opened up about skiing to the South Pole a decade ago with Prince Harry and Dominic West for a charity trek, describing three weeks of featureless ice where "you can't really talk to each other because you're so cold." He revealed the support team brought a portable sauna and Icelandic vodka for evenings at the Pole, which drew gasps from Cox.

The pair were on the show to promote their new film Wicker, out in cinemas from Friday, with Colman explaining her character orders herself a husband made of wicker by Peter Dinklage's basket weaver, only for the village men to turn on him out of jealousy. Skarsgård described the physical reality of playing the wicker man himself, saying the costume "was not itchy but it was really really cool." A quickfire quiz named Wicker ended with Colman thrashing Skarsgård 11 points to 2, much to his mock outrage.

Elsewhere, Sara Cox ran her usual Let's Hear It For The Noise game with returning contestant Charlotte, who bounced back from a previous score of zero to notch seven points, and celebrated one-year-old Rory in Signed, Sealed, Delivered.
