Alright Treacle? It gives me great pleasure today to say ‘good afternoon’ rather than the standard morning greetings you’ve had to put up with for the last two weeks. Chris Moyles is back at Breakfast, which means Scott is back on at 4pm. It looks like you’ve got me reviewing all this week, so hold tight, as I take you through Monday’s show.
The ‘Gay Pride’ celebrations had arrived in Majorca much to the men’s delight

Scott had throughouly enjoyed his weekend with the competition winners in Majorca. Chappers (or Chopper) thinks he needs the six weeks of summer to recover, as he decided to stay out last night for Dance Anthems. At 7.20 this morning he was at the ‘square’ in Magaluff. Chappers would like to make it clear he’s not having a mid-life crisis, although there is cause for concern now he’s being mistaken for Pat Sharpe.
On Sunday the competition winners spoke to the team about what they thought of Scott. They all seemed to think he was going to be fat, or found him fatter than they thought, and they all slowly realised he was a huge fan of the wine. How they really won this competition is beyond me, surely they should know what he looks like and drinks? What did you think Scott was really going to look like, why not tell us on the message board. Scott did call the competition winners back this afternoon, but I think all of them were in the land of nod, or just bringing back up the contents of their stomach…
Chappers had enjoyed himself a little too much and had ignored all warning signs on the doors
Scott will be filming for Casualty next Thursday. He’s received the script and it looks like he’ll be the star of the show, playing ‘Paul Lang’ a reporter for the City Eye newspaper. It’s not until Page 94 of the script that you find a group of girls frolicking in a fountain in wet t-shirts. A team of reporters are filming them, and a reporter is on hand. This is the point Scott comes in and asks what they’re doing in a Newsbeat fashion. On their t-shirts they spell out the word ‘shocked’, as a publicity stunt to show they’re protests at the emergency department closing at the hospital and starting up elsewhere. Scott thinks there’s no death scene yet as he thinks he will be returning a few weeks later. He’s yet to work out whether he should have a Newsbeat voice, or an Australlian voice. I personally think they’ll end up recording two alternative endings to keep us gripped and so no one finds out what really happens.
Let Me Entertain You…
On Friday, Scott played the new Robbie Williams lesson before he should have, and tried to play the hard man to show he wasn’t scared of him or his agent. So today Robbie called in from Berlin, as he’s on tour at the moment. He was in a room with a computer and a load of pictures around him. Robbie and Scott spoke about their thoughts on the new song, and what the critics think. Apparently we can all have our own different views on what a rudebox is, and he wasn’t too sure on what his new album was called. He says it’s called Rudebox, whilst Wikipedia calls it 1974. They continued to talk about various rumours, and Jo Whiley having an aeroplane being named after her. One rumour involved a girl who claimed had slept with him during the tour.
Chappers: “I’m sorry I couldn’t find that girl on My Space”
Robbie: “Well you obviously can’t spell slag”
Chappers: “Ohhh I can”
Robbie was quite happy for Scott to play the album whenever he likes, without the record label’s permission. I felt we learnt more about Robbie in 10 minutes than we did with Justin Timberlake in that 30 minute show. As for his single, despite Comedy Dave thinking it should be an instrumental, I think the song is growing on me, just like Scott said on Friday. One listener called in asking if Robbie Williams would sing at his wedding, as he’s back in the UK in September. Chappers thinks it’ll happen, especially if Status Quo sung at Les Battersby’s wedding.
Janet Jackson pops out… to meet Scott
Janet Jackson’s putting on a special event tonight for her fans, a bit like the Pope does, but without the bar.
Last time this happened, whilst Scott was on his own, he was having a photograph with her and she was running her fingertips all the way up Scott’s back. Scott and Chappers met her today, and boy could she talk for Britain. I believe there’s sarcasm there. They even played her some of the Hip Hop Karaoke clips, but her facial expression was just blank. That would probably be the cosmetic surgery kicking in again.
Flirt Divert
Tonight on Flirt Divert, the first guy sounded more like Dev off of Corrie thanking a girl for the night, whilst the second said what he was thinking and came out with ‘I loved your boobs the other night’. The third woke up to an ass print on his car from the girl he’d been with (was she so fat she dented it?) and another Radio 1 DJ impostor – this time claiming he was Steve Lamacq. What with the schedule changes at Radio 1 I think he certainly will have a bit of free time in the next few weeks.

Lloyd was back on today, as after the prize he won a fortnight ago on Breakfast, he was to go to Anfield to his favourite football club. Him and his mum went into the press conference to see the new strip unveiled, and then he got to stand by the pitch at Anfield. His mother even fancies the goal keeper there, despite he’s bald. Steven Gerrad even said hello to Lloyd outside the press conference. Tomorrow you can find out what Lloyd asked the Liverpool team today.
And finally we’re thinking that Chappers is slowly becoming the new Pete Doherty. Is it because Scott is taking all the attention away from him? First it’s the swearing on Sport Relief, getting hammered in Majorca, and now looking up slags on myspace! Funkyseaweed on the forum said – “he wanted to wave goodbye to his career on Sport Relief last weekend. I guess now he is just saying goodbye in style”.
