Chappers reckons they’ve started the first match at the same time as the Wonder Years, so it’s the unofficial start to the World Cup. He doesn’t have tickets to the football, so he might as well stay in London, but Chappers claims it’s all about bringing the atmosphere back to the listeners in the UK. Great stories happen on the BBC, etc.

Also on today’s show, Lloyd the World Cup expert was back on. He’s enjoying his new found fame, and his school mates had listened to him on the radio. George appears to be after Scott’s job! Scott made sure at his gig in Birmingham that he dropped in the facts about the World Cup, but as a response got total silence. Lloyd’s facts for today included that in 1998 according to a survey, 21% of women would rather see a male stripper than go to the world cup. He’ll be dropping in some more facts down the pub tonight.
