9 June 2006: World Cup fever, Lloyd and The Wonder Years

Good actual afternoon, it’s your favourite day of the week…

**** IT’S ONLY BLEY FRIDAY!!!! ****

The hot weather has again been affecting people just like Louise off of Southampton yesterday, who took a shine to her next door neighbour after seeing her breasts.

Scott claims he’s had a few drinks (go figure) but has never ended up at the embacy, like Jamie Foxx in his latest song.

Chappers was on the air from Germany enjoying the sunshine, in the middle of no-where. He describes his new home as a Hi-De-Hi Holiday Camp. As with the One Night With Laura tour bus, Chappers can’t fit in his bed. Chappers reckons they’ve started the first match at the same time as the Wonder Years, so it’s the unofficial start to the World Cup. He doesn’t have tickets to the football, so he might as well stay in London, but Chappers claims it’s all about bringing the atmosphere back to the listeners in the UK. Great stories happen on the BBC, etc.

A group of ‘hot nurses’ are out drinking pimms, claiming her boobs look fantastic too. After this comment Chappers wants to come home. David Walliams was also back on the show talking about his Sports Relief swim-a-thon where he’s swimming the English Channel.

Lloyd the Football Expert

Lloyd’s secret is he has two brains – one is stored in his hands, which even has another face

Also on today’s show, Lloyd the World Cup expert was back on. He’s enjoying his new found fame, and his school mates had listened to him on the radio. George appears to be after Scott’s job! Scott made sure at his gig in Birmingham that he dropped in the facts about the World Cup, but as a response got total silence. Lloyd’s facts for today included that in 1998 according to a survey, 21% of women would rather see a male stripper than go to the world cup. He’ll be dropping in some more facts down the pub tonight. Llloyd had to rush off to watch the first match. More from him on Monday on Lloyd’s Radio 1 show from 4pm.
