A complaint designed for attention
Danny Howard visited before travelling to Hideout Festival in Croatia. Scott enjoyed Danny’s international DJ career but thought he was far too reasonable to appear on the dormant Twitter account DJs Complaining.
Listeners helped construct an appropriately absurd tweet: Danny hated it when a private jet ran out of lobster and he had to eat fillet steak, and when a hotel supplied lavender pillows after he had wanted camomile.
Danny posted it, and people outside the joke began accusing him of becoming a diva.
Everybody Bamboleoed
Bamboleo Wednesday returned with listeners reporting where they were joining in. People Bamboleoed while delivering beer, driving tractors, cooking and waiting at work.
Emeli nearly missed her own set
Emeli Sandé joined Real or No Real and reflected on Glastonbury.
After finishing a broadcast, a car was meant to carry her across the site, but conflicting instructions from security required her party to leave the festival before re-entering. Her tour manager called as the performance approached while Emeli was still on the road trying to find the correct route.
She eventually reached the stage.
