Teeth, showers and Hackstage Pass
Scott continued drinking coffee through a straw after having his teeth whitened, while the mysterious lump on his forehead survived into a fourth morning. Chris’s own skin was suffering from the early starts, although he remained reluctant to adopt Scott’s proposed moisturising routine.
The week’s shower story also reached Rixton, whose shared washing habits made Chris’s solo visit to the BBC basement seem comparatively restrained. Away from the showers, he had become unexpectedly good at Hackstage Pass, creating a new disagreement with Matt Edmondson over Radio 1’s Big Weekend game.
Flirting for breakfast
Scott had read that customers could receive a free drink when a barista fancied them. As it was Chris’s turn to buy the team’s coffees, Scott sent him outside and instructed him to flirt outrageously with the first person who served him.
The plan failed almost immediately when the barista asked for payment before Chris could establish any chemistry. Scott fed him increasingly uncomfortable compliments, but the server showed no interest and a standoff developed at the till.
Chris eventually asked outright whether he could have the coffee for free. He returned with one paid-for drink and widespread listener reports of hiding in bathrooms, rearranging toilet rolls or walking around offices to escape the embarrassment.
A hot dog plays Bingo
Sam Faiers returned for Innuendo Bingo and was offered a selection of costumes. She and Scott chose a giant hot dog, giving the live video a visual explanation that made little more sense once the game began.
Sam stayed committed while clips moved from television cookery and sport to an interview with Dick Advocaat. The costume helped absorb some of the water, but it could not protect Chris from another heavy Breakfast-week soaking.
A listener wins Real or No Real
Listener Pippa took on Scott in Real or No Real. The claims involved aubergine emoji searches, Rylan Clark’s teeth and a wanted man who could not resist liking his own police photograph on Facebook.
Scott scored a full 40 points, leaving Pippa to share a morning already defined by his increasingly white teeth, Chris’s failed coffee seduction and a former TOWIE star dressed as processed meat.
