A chat about sharks' teeth on the beach somehow led Vernon Kay to reveal he once did a modelling shoot in the same session as Jason Statham, back in the mid-to-late 90s for a magazine called More. Vernon admitted Statham was "the epitome of masculinity" even then, claiming he'd also seen him dancing in a music video and diving at the Commonwealth Games.

Bernie Taupin was the big guest for Tracks Of My Years, talking to Vernon about discovering Merle Haggard after moving to America with Elton John. Taupin said Haggard "should be on the Mount Rushmore of country music" and explained he'd kept his love of the genre secret in the psychedelic late sixties because it wasn't fashionable. He also explained why Aretha Franklin covering Border Song meant so much, saying "it doesn't get any bigger than Aretha Franklin."

Ten To The Top saw Sharon from Rushton post a strong 29 points, boosted by playing her Joker on a ten-pointer, only to be pipped by Tommy from Belfast, who used his Joker cleverly to land the fridge magnet prize and the smart speaker. Tommy also told Vernon about nearly being banned from his daughter's wedding photos after a stag-do injury in Prague left him with five stitches just before the big day.

Vernon also previewed an upcoming special Tracks Of My Years recording with all of Take That together, saying in his thirty years of broadcasting he's "never sat with the whole band together" before.
