The search for celebrity voice doubles produced Andrew, who sounded like Danny O’Donoghue from The Script, and Rob, whose supposed resemblance to Freddie Flintoff owed at least something to a shared regional accent.
Corey was the remarkable discovery. He sounded uncannily like Sarah Millican and disliked being told so. Unfortunately, his voice moved even closer to hers whenever he became excited, meaning every protest supplied better evidence.

With the Brit Awards that evening, Scott remembered an older ceremony followed by an exceptionally early radio show. After the awards and party, he was expected on air at 4am. A hotel manager and producer eventually found him in his room wearing a shirt but no trousers and transported him to the studio.

Scott had also genuinely criticised Lady Gaga’s 2010 Brit Awards performance during his dishevelled early show, declaring that he had wanted “Bad Romance”. He won by thirty points to Chris’s twenty, then prepared to attend another ceremony capable of creating tomorrow’s regrettable recordings.
