The Birthday Game: Paul
Paul lived near Wellington and Taunton and divided his time between window cleaning and transporting his children to after-school activities.
The family schedule included swimming, gymnastics, trampolining, karate and pony club.
Paul also worked as a DJ at Fever nightclub in Barnstaple and occasionally in Exeter, specialising in pop, cheese and singalong records.
His first spin was Stevie Wonder’s I Just Called to Say I Love You, number one in 1984.
Paul liked it but chose to continue.
His second was Eiffel 65’s Blue (Da Ba Dee), number one in 1999 and still a regular request during his DJ sets.
Paul accepted it.
The Headlines with Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton joined Scott to examine stories written about her over the years.
Scott explained that some celebrity headlines were true, while others had been exaggerated or completely invented.
Dolly had to reconstruct the story from the headline and decide whether it had happened.
The Dolly lookalike contest
The first headline suggested the woman in question was not actually Dolly.
Dolly immediately connected it with the famous story that she had lost a Dolly Parton lookalike contest.
She explained that the event took place at a Halloween drag show.
Dolly exaggerated her own appearance with a larger beauty mark and more dramatic clothes, then walked across the stage alongside much taller drag performers.
She received less applause than the competitors and joked afterwards that she had lost the contest.

Scott also covered a porcupine loose in Suffolk.
Police had spotted it near Clare but failed to catch it before it disappeared into a garden.
Elsewhere, plumbers rescued a duck trapped inside a drainpipe, inspiring a long series of duck-related puns.
Celebrity Race Across the World
Scott previewed Celebrity Race Across the World, featuring Harry Judd, Alex Beresford, Mel Blatt and Billy Monger travelling from Marrakesh to Tromsø without flights or mobile phones.
