Joe Wicks had created an underwear emergency
Scott and Chris had spotted Joe Wicks laying out the kit for an eight-day motorbike trip across Spain.
The packing was impressively minimal.
Too minimal, as far as the show was concerned.
Joe had packed four pairs of pants.
Scott’s own rule was to take far more underwear than the number of days away, just in case some unexplained holiday emergency required multiple changes.
Four pairs for eight days felt reckless.
Joe sent the show a voice note explaining the logic.
On a motorbike, a heavy backpack quickly becomes uncomfortable, so he wanted to travel as lightly as possible. Four pairs meant one pair could cover two days.
He even joked about turning them inside out.
Listeners immediately split into camps over whether this was sensible travel efficiency or a fundamental breach of holiday hygiene.
Brother or Lover met Amber and Tom
Then came Amber and Tom.
Amber was a dog groomer and dog walker who loved horses and pop-punk. She had even asked YUNGBLUD to sign her leg at a meet-and-greet and then had the autograph tattooed permanently onto her skin.
Tom worked supermarket night shifts, played PlayStation and preferred dance and trance music.
He often came home with bags of cakes, biscuits and other treats from work, although Amber admitted she was not convinced they had been brought specifically for her.
Their clues were confusing.
They went to Mexico together regularly.
Amber’s funniest memory involved Tom squealing on a sun lounger when an enormous iguana joined him.
She had once shaved his head.
Tom also said he would choose PlayStation over Amber without much hesitation.
Almost everybody got the relationship wrong
Most of the team decided they had to be a couple.
The annual holidays and domestic details sounded too relationship-like.
Only one member of the team held out for brother and sister.
Amber finally revealed the truth.
Tom was her brother.
More than that, they were twins.
Their similar enthusiasm for tattoos came from the fact they sometimes booked full-day sessions at the same tattoo shop and went together.
It was one of those Brother or Lover rounds where perfectly ordinary sibling closeness had managed to sound much more romantic once every detail was examined on the radio.
