Chris’s Streets tickets caused an early crisis
The Streets had announced another run of shows and Chris immediately entered the familiar battle with online ticketing websites.
He had already spent money on supposedly final Streets gigs in the past, only for Mike Skinner to return again later, but that did nothing to reduce the urgency.
The ticket site then froze and forced Chris through repeated tests to prove he was not a robot while he became increasingly frustrated.
Relationships were much stranger behind closed doors
The show returned to little rituals that couples develop which would make very little sense to anybody else.
The examples became progressively more intimate and disgusting.
Listeners described games involving poking each other’s noses, strange voices, deliberately annoying habits and eventually the headline confession: some couples admitted eating one another’s bogeys.
Scott and Chris decided every relationship apparently developed its own language and rules if left alone for long enough.
Bamboleo Wednesday and sassy bosses returned
Bamboleo Wednesday provided its usual midweek interruption, while Scott continued writing fantasy replies to annoying workplace emails.
The difference was that the listeners were repeatedly reminded not to actually press send.
