Scott became obsessed with celebrity couples
Scott admitted he had developed a new internet habit: discovering that two celebrities were dating and then spending far too long looking through photographs of them together.
The fascination was not really about gossip or scandal. He simply liked finding a new celebrity couple, working out how long they had been together and then going through pictures documenting the relationship.
Korean Billy returned with more British material
Korean Billy, already one of Scott and Chris’s favourite internet personalities, came back to the programme. His videos about British accents, regional slang and cultural differences had made him a regular source of material for the show.
This time he went out onto the streets with some of his favourite jokes and phrases, testing how they worked on real people rather than simply performing them to camera.
Scott and Chris were particularly amused by the strange effect of hearing very familiar British expressions delivered with Billy’s carefully studied regional pronunciations.
Chris went clothes shopping without Scott
Chris had also done something Scott regarded as unusually independent: he had been clothes shopping without him.
Scott had become accustomed to giving Chris advice on what to buy and wear, so the decision to go alone was treated almost like a major life event. It led into listeners’ stories about being attracted to people in deeply inappropriate situations and places where they knew they probably should not have been thinking romantically at all.
