The humiliating new doorbell
A friend replaces Scott’s broken doorbell with one that plays an embarrassingly jaunty tune. It sounds enough like an ice-cream van to confuse visitors and neighbours, and Scott suspects that his former flatmate may have helped choose it. The apparently minor household repair begins a story that will continue as Scott discovers the bell has several selectable songs.
Jordan and Harley face the water
Rizzle Kicks, Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule, take on Innuendo Bingo. Jordan sprays water with remarkable consistency while clips from golf commentary, The Hotel Inspector and BBC weather create the usual accidental double meanings. A golfing reference to a little kiss of the balls and a hotel instruction to give something a pounding are particularly destructive.
With both guests opposite Chris, the game becomes a sustained soaking rather than a measured contest. The studio floor and everyone around the microphones are drenched before Rizzle Kicks can escape.
Chris waits inside a Pokémon bush
Scott has had enough of seeing adults play Pokémon Go throughout the working day and designs an experiment. Chris is sent into a bush in a park near a department store and instructed to shout that rare Pokémon have appeared. He calls out Pikachu and repeatedly mispronounces Charizard while shaking the leaves in the hope that players will rush over.
Several people sit nearby, but nobody approaches for the promised creatures. The stunt ends as a failure: either the public can recognise an unreliable Pokémon report, or a man shouting from a bush is not the irresistible attraction Scott imagined. Chris emerges without catching a crowd, and Scott gains no evidence that the game can override basic caution.
