Big Weekend: Check out our mini-site for all the gossip
The hype has begun. Radio 1’s Big Weekend is almost here, and Zane has just announced the In New Music We Trust stage acts.
Playing Saturday will be Madonna, The Fratellis, Usher, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, Duffy, Robyn and The Hoosiers. Plus The Editors, The Futureheads, Guillemots, We Are Scientists, Foals, Vampire Weekend and The Ting Tings.
Playing Sunday will be The Kooks, The Enemy, Nelly, Goldfrapp, The Pigeon Detectives, Newton Faulkner, One Republic, and Adele. Plus The Raconteurs, The Zutons, The Wombats, Hot Chip, Gallows and Lethal Bizzle, Pendulum, Black Kids and Justice.
Plus there’ll be a whole host of Radio 1 and specialist dance DJs and a number of ‘upcoming’ bands playing the BBC Introducing stage.
