Here’s another brief round up of today’s show.
The Scott and Laura holiday dillema continues, with Scott developing a limp. Laura’s boyfriend is panicing about Laura going on this holiday as it’s presently a war zone. So if he’s not papping himself because of those tablets, he’s papping himself because of the war. Nice!
One guy kept getting random telephone calls from a faulty answermachine. They ended up getting to know each other after a ‘random act of luck’ and ended up flirting. But it wasn’t going anywhere, so one night he got a text off her, and his mate grabbed the phone off him and texted her saying she was dead. Afterwards his mate carried on texting her and got to know her, and then asked if she’d come to the guy’s funeral. The day came, and she turned up to another person’s funeral. She was talking to all the mourners at this funeral, thinking it was this guy, and then after ten minutes realised it wasn’t the right funeral. The original caller then gave her a call to surprise her and tell her he’s not dead. I’m sure she was chuffed with that…
Lloyd the Football Expert
Nick from Leceister e-mailed Scott, with a clip from a call centre. One seriously mental man not liking the phone call, losing his rag to the caller. And Lloyd was back on with his two As and a B exam results. He was talking about the new football season. Laura suggests supporting Portsmouth as it’s quite near Southampton. Laura wanted to know about his girlfriend, as they’ve been together for a while now and it’s going fine. Scott also suggested One Night With Lloyd, and he was quite up for it.
Random Act of Kindness
And now time for a Random Act of Kindness recap. Molly was on. She had been diagnosed with cancer in September, and just at the point she was going to be given the all clear when it came back again. Remember Scott got The Tweenies on to bring a smile to her face? Molly’s mother Emma was on the phone to explain that she’s doing really well at the moment. She’s horse riding, grown her lovely hair back, and having a really good summer holiday. She’s going back to the hospital every three months for ultrasounds and x-rays and the all clear won’t be for five years yet, but she’s made good progress Molly said she enjoyed the day, and thanked Scott for letting her meet the Tweenies.
