13 June 2006: Toilet Paper-Gate, World Cup Widows and Lloyd

Good actual morning. How are we all? Here’s today review for Tuesday. Scott kicked off with a great tune – some Kasabian.

How bley hot was it last night? Scott had the duvet in the middle of the bed, with one leg out because it was so sticky. But I’m guessing that’s a different story all together.

Meanwhile in Germany… Toilet Paper-Gate

Chappers, Dave and Moyles are going through five toilet rolls, and he’s been having difficult poos recently as there’s a ‘poo ledge’ in German toilets. A lot of people are famillar to this, and it helps when looking for worms. Laura wants to know if the toilet water flushes the other way, but considering Germany isn’t south of the equator, I believe that’s not the case.

Motty? More like Potty!

Lloyd – better known as Lloyd Roberts of Oswestry – was on the front page of the Shropshire Star tonight. Chappers is still thinking Scott’s knowledge is ‘superficial’ and not very beneficial to Scott.

Lloyd: “Chappers you needn’t come back from England”

Chappers: “Why’s that sunshine?”

Lloyd: “Cos I’m here!”

Chappers wanted Scott to make a conversation in public with a stranger about the football. Scott managed to have a conversation with two people – the first didn’t go well, the second went much better with a guy who is always in the pub. Lloyd’s facts weren’t going down well with him, but it appeared neither of them had much to say about the football. Scott promises tonight he’ll be watching the game rather than Big Brother. It’s on the podcast if you want to hear it.

Stop! World Cup Widows are here…

World Cup Widows – Public Service Broadcasting

Are you feeling ignore by your partner during the World Cup? Scott’s World Cup Widows is for you. Scott will try and get your partner back for tonight to try and rekindle the romance you had in your life before this tournament began. Scott had a rather quirky montage of clips from the call yesterday on top of some heart-breaking music. If you need help to get your partner to back home, text Scott on 81199 or e-mail the usual address.

Nina off of Battersea was back on to talk about her partner Ed, who had made her a world cup widow. She had a couple of tricks up her sleeve to tempt him back when they gave Ed a call. The match was pretty dull today, but he wanted to stay till the end. She tempted him with the idea of a curry and beer, they could watch it together and finally the thing that convinced him was what she was wearing last night in red lace. So Nina is no longer a world cup widow! Perhaps Scott should have tried the red lace with Marie? But as the texts came in we were informed it appears that the end of the match was just twenty minutes away, so perhaps it wasn’t quite a success…

Is this the way to Amarillo? Where…

…Sweet Marie Waits For Me

Scott took some more random callers today. Paul from Stoke On Trent was quite liking the girl from yesterday’s World Cup Widows and quite liking the idea of her in the nightie. Are nighties past it? Steve, another caller, wanted to know if Scott was still seeing the girl from the supermarket that he asked out a while ago. He hasn’t been out with her yet, and hasn’t texted her or called her. Chappers said those who thought he should call Marie should text ‘Yes’ to 81199. Those who didn’t think he should must text ‘antidisestablishmentarism’ to 81199. At the last count there were more than 12,000 texts saying ‘yes’. Scott gave Marie a call, asking if she wants to know if she wants to go ‘Hip Hop Karaoke’ which all the team are going to next week but she’s now taken. Gutted a sad day really – no more Marie, and no more Big Brother Helen and Paul. I suggest Amarillo for tonight’s Your Call (see sub-title for the lyric).

Was a bit disappointed with the first hour and a half, but the show picked up towards the randomer callers at 5.30. Thanks for reading! Stick with Unofficial Mills for more information from The Scott Mills Show.
