Laura is sent on a revenge mission to wake up a listener’s inconsiderate flatmate using loud German industrial metal, armed with permission and a megaphone.
Rich emails the show to complain about his flatmate, who plays loud music at 2–3am most nights, leaving Rich with barely two hours of sleep before he has to wake up at 5am. Rich has tried asking him to stop, but the flatmate just laughs it off. Scott sends Laura round to his house with a megaphone and music from Rammstein, a popular German rock act known for being extremely loud, to give the flatmate a taste of his own medicine. Laura lets herself in with keys provided and makes her way upstairs to the flatmate’s bedroom. She blasts the music while Scott and the team listen via phone link. The flatmate, visibly confused, is confronted by Danny Howard on air, who delivers a firm warning: stop keeping Rich awake, or the team will return every morning to wake him up the same way. Laura delivers one final blast of Rammstein before making her exit. The prank serves as both revenge and a clear message about the impact of the flatmate’s behaviour.
