Highlights from the show
Well it was the only way you could end 2005 (on Radio 1 at least). Scott, Laura, Chris, Stuart and Uncle Ferg were in the Radio 1 studios and because of cut backs of live outside brodcasting you ended up with these fools for 4 hours.
Only joking! What you got was some excellent mixes from the Lord of the Dance Scott Mills – including a superb one with the Kaiser Chiefs, Hard-Fi, Foo Fighters and The Killers, and some very bizzare callers.
The wine was on by about 10pm, and Scott was finding it hard to give a good blow – on the party hooters.
Random callers included one from a swingers party, some girls who were apparently had all things posh for meals (including Vienetta), a takeaway guy, a bunch of people chanting they love Comedy Dave and many more.
At midnight the station went live to the bongs from Big Ben, with a great mix for 2006.
No doubt the team will have hangovers in the morning – Happy New Year to you all – and if you want a hangover remedy try Chappers and Dave from 10am.
