Well, as a famous radio personality once said… Alrite Treacle? It’s me, Podlover again, even though I said I wouldn’t be here on Tuesday, I am so don’t despair! Today is ‘Dress Down Wednesday’ on the Scott Mills show since they were all on the wine last night- rubbish! (It was another show meeting) The first text of the show today was from Lisa from Southampton, saying that it was really obvious about Basement Jaxx. You know… anyway all of us here at unofficalmills say Good Luck to them! What they do in the comfort of their own home is up to them. Jamiroquai has got a pub installed into his house.. Scott would love that as would any red blooded male I feel. The show’s website manager, Osray, is wearing a really weird hat today on the Webcam.. but that bloke is generally weird according to Scott. A text came in to the Scott Mills show asking who that annoying women is in the background who is always laughing. Well, it’s Radio 1’s very own vigilante Laura and she has such an annoying laugh. He he ha. It’s not a button so why not just Shut Up! Emma in York rang up the show asking if they have found the “Dirty Boy” girl yet. The girl has still not been found but the search shall continue! Scott is hoping to find her when he gets back from holiday. For all those despairing from the Crazy Frog song by ex-bitter Radio 1 Chart DJ Wes Butters, there is a new one coming all the way from Germany- and this time it’s a bee. Ahhhh!!!

The cookie machine was all messed up at the beginning of this show so Ashley was 98% minging. It carried on throughout the 4o’clock bit- but Scott said it must just be all the jealous blokes wanting a fit girl. Rachael from Manchester couldn’t believe it and thought he was rather fit. And she would give him one. After Entertainment News Scott spoke to Ashley from Hamden. Who has a nice vacuum. Scott persuaded Ashley that there was something wrong with the website- there is a hacker! Laura thinks he is well fit and she likes his lips, and he is not just saying that. Anyway, the end result was 88% minging.
Laura the Radio 1 Vigilante
After yesterdays hilarious disabled parking saga the Scott Mills Show has had hundreds of text’s asking Laura to come to their area. Scott’s favourite texts were; “Dog owners pick up their dogs poo”, “Cars which leave their fog Lights on” and Chappers personal favourite “Short People who use Umbrellas”. Chappers comment caused what could only be described as ‘the Great Umbrella Scandal’. Shorty Natalie was on the phone calling Chappers “a nasty, nasty man!” (By the way this is what Chappers said and is not the view of unofficialmills.co.uk) Chappers just said in reply that he couldn’t understand why she just can’t wear a hood or one of those nice plastic headscarf things.
Tim from Winchester kicked off a new “Dirty Boy” craze by going to the Manchester Station PA system and asking them to announce it on tannoy. Steve at the Swan Centre in Easterly who also failed followed this. So…only one person can do this- Laura the vigilante! Laura went to London Euston to hang around (no not Kings’ Cross Chappers) to try and get “Ay… Dirty Boy!” on the tannoy system. She went to the Station Reception and gave the ‘nice man’ a piece of paper saying that she wanted to meet a man (or a woman) called Aid irtyboi. She ran to the main hall where the tannoy rang out “Aid irtyboi please go to Reception. Aid irtyboi please report to reception.” Classic. Get me out of here!
This is when you are on a really boring date and Scott gives you a really good excuse on why you need to leave immediately by you just texting “Get me out of here!” to 81199. Today’s “Get me out of Here!” was from Phil in a meeting about Research for Companies. Scott made him say, “I can’t do that I’m in a meeting”, “But Doctor are you sure there is nothing you can do?” “How long- 20 minutes?” “That’s terrible news. I better come right away!” I think Scott put him into a lot more trouble than he was anyway though- so sorry about that Phil.

Adam from the Isle of Wright saw the Coral yesterday in Portsmouth so he choose the fantastic Coral ‘In the Morning’. Chris Moyles’ favourite track at the moment.
Karen was packing her bags to go on holiday to Turkey and was having problems choosing what shoes to wear. Scott didn’t know what to say- but his Turkey shoe tip was to wear a white shoe of some kind- it reflects the light you see? She choose Missy Elliot and Ciara “1..2 step”.
Sarah in a Garden Centre chose oasis ‘Lyla’. She isn’t going to buy any Garden gnomes. Fact.
Angie who was driving in Manchester had just seen ay..dirty boy on the back of a van. She chose Madonna and ‘Music’. It was nice to hear that.
Sam in West Bromwich chose t’chiefs and “Everyday I love you less and less”. In a really fake way (she was obviously asked to) she asked about One Big Weekend.
Sophie at college chose Destiny Child and “Jumpin’ Jumpin’” (She has a friend)
Jem who has finished University saw Zane Lowe last Friday, and Scott wanted to know what songs Zane played no “Build me up Buttercup” I’m afraid. Maybe S Club 7 though. She chose “Beverley Hills” by Wheezer because she is happy.
Steve was in Southampton and tried to spread the “Eh…dirty boy!” message via. Tannoy at the Swan Centre in Easterly. He chose Usher and “What you do”
Today’s Your Call’s most wanted was Tony Christie mimed by Peter Kay and ‘Amarillo’ due to J texting in 20,000 times. With the amount of money he spent on that he could have bought a new CD player and a CD for that. Fact! This song spawned another ‘Amarillo’ joke. This time the punch line was “Arse!”
Last night, Zane said that Scott was the voice over on “The world’s most amazing Video’s”. Scott had some clips for Zane and the listeners to compare. Didn’t quite sound like Mills but hey it’s the good that is Zane Lowe’s favourite show. It was a good show today, especially Laura the Vigilante. And it seems this is going to turn into a regular feature. I hope so.. But I don’t want it to replace Flirt Divert! Today’s show rating is….8! I’ll see you tomorrow for another review.
