As a famous radio personality once said……alrite treacle? Today’s Thursday and Thursday is the new Friday and it’s not long till Friday and Friday’s the real thing and that means its only bludy Friday! Scott went to a showbiz party yesterday, darling. Davina McCall, Psycho Michelle and Timmy Mallet dressed in a airline pilot’s costume were all there and Scott is feeling a bit worse for wear. But what kind of party was it? Suggestions coming in on the text included a Celebrity Tupperware party. The reason for the big occasion was a RND’05 thank you gig for all of Scott’s hard work in March. Scott promised us he didn’t touch the red wine- yeah right! He spoke to Timmy Mallet at the party and Scott (yes, Scott) caused outrage on the text by criticising the legend of Timmy Mallet. Well… he got one text from a bloke called Mike. After that the first hour of the show turned into, well, a Timmy Mallet Gold feature really. Gareth, the scared ex-Timmy Mallet fan, rang up the show to tell us about the time he was walking down a street at the tender age of 3 when Timmy just popped out from behind a bin and malleted him. This incidence has scared him for life. If this awful man has ever affected you, please get on the forum.

Remember Phil yesterday? (See yesterday’s Show Review) Well Scott rang him back to see if he had got sacked after that poor attempt to get out of a meeting. Well, after the phone conversation yesterday with Mills Phil was apparently told to “sit down and stop being stupid”. He is also expecting one of those “Come into my Office” talks very soon. Unofficialmills would like to send our apologies to Phil and hope he doesn’t lose his job. But hey, it made great radio…but don’t ask Mills to get you out of a meeting.
Rate My Listener
Today’s Rate my Listener was all a bit messed up since the internet machine was all broken- must have been those troublesome “Cookies” or maybe Laura spilt some wine over the machine. So today was the first text only Rate my Listener. Today’s pretty lady was Laura from Maidenhead and the unofficialmills rating would have to be…. pretty stunning! Definite Good Morning material. Laura is only doing “Rate my Listener” because she lost a bet after having too many Tia Maria’s saying “She sells sea shells by the sea shore”. She is a married interior designer lads so back off! She is wearing a bra on this pic, by the way. She is a good singer and is 26…FACT! Her ideal man is Scott Mills. So her end result was 44% Good Morning….very much well deserved I think.

Laura the Vigilante
After yesterday’s Vigilante success at Euston station the “eh..dirty boy!”, or should we say “aid irty boi”, tannoy success seems to have spread to Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station, according to Tom who spoke to Scott during the show. So, that meant that it was time to drag Laura out of the studio again and for her to get on the street! After ‘Your Call’ someone rang up telling us about the annoying people who read magazines in shops without buying them. I do do it though…. that’s my dirty little secret. Anyway it was up to only one person to fight against this evil…our very own Laura the Vigilante! There seemed to be a lot of support for this; Nick the petrol station worker said the best way to deal with this scum was to say, “This is not a Library”. Rachael the shorty can’t buy the magazine she wants as the people wanting them are standing in front of her. So Laura went into Radio 1’s Local Newsagents and get out her trusty megaphone; “THIS IS NOT A LIBRARY. WILL YOU PLEASE HOP IT!!” She bellowed at the startled customers. The owner of the shop didn’t appreciate it though so she had to run…fast! After this the texts’ just kept flooding in- one man claimed he had to chuck Uri Geller out of his garage for reading magazines! Anyway enough of this…
Zane has introduced Scott to the world’s Greatest Channel….Bravo and the programme “World’s Greatest Video’s” (Hardcore ‘You’ve Been Framed!) Scott really wants ‘this gig’ so Zane has been on the phone to Bravo but has so far failed. If anyone knows anyone who can pull strings at Bravo…do it. You know you want to.
An average show today. I don’t think Laura’s vigilante stuff was as strong a topic as it could have been so I will give it a 7. David’s here tomorrow with the Show Review and ‘the Wonder Years’ track listings. I will be back on Monday for a Chappers and Dave show review special……see you then!
