First impressions of Lauren weren't as good as expected. It's like she's decided she's too good for early breakfast.

Lot of 'ideal radio schedules' on these forums, but how does your radio day look? I usually start with Greg James, move on to Vernon Kay, then a little bit of Rickie Melvin and Charlie, listen to Scott Mills and then back to Vick and Jordan. Weekends it's Sam and Danni, Ed Gamble and Matthew Crosbie on Radio X, Matt and Mollie then Dance Anthems or Life Hacks.

A lot of emphasis on blaming the producer but even Aled was in Ibiza at the time. Was he working?

They sounded great at Big Weekend and are under utilised by the station. When will they get a permanent show?

Feels like he fell out with us. Was it something we said Aled? ?

Poor Greg all the talk about who is too old for Radio 1 now pointed at him!

fearne and reggie were good but they were hardly together towards the end

Was quite impressed with him on the radio at the weekend, perfect voice for Radio 1. Another of those good stand-ins along with Sam and Danni and James Cusack

It's been almost ten years since Scott Mills moved to the 1pm show, five years since he started cover on Radio 2, and two since he joined 5Live. He is likely to move - Radio 1 or elsewhere - at some point, so where would you put him?

Jordan North hasn't covered many shows this year, is he no longer the station's supply teacher of choice?

a conversation started elsewhere and i wanted to know your thoughts. other than tweaking the schedule aled hasn't had a ruthless streak we've seen with other radio 1 controllers. the daytime schedule has not dramatically changed in years. is he too nice for the job?
