:yeahthat: Felt fine today, although I didn't wake up til about midday. Had some really strange callers at work this afternoon. The first one who phoned a debt company told me that she had been enjoying the 'on hold' music, and that she had borrowed £2 from her friend, which turned into £200 and could we help her? She didn't want to leave any details though... The conversation with the another weird caller went a bit like this: Me: "Good evening [company name] Swidon, how can I help?" Them: "I like Swindon." Me: "That's nice for you. How can I help?" Silence. Me: "Do you need an emergency call out?" Them: "I'll tell you what I need... a condom." I hung up then. Honestly, do people not have anything better to do on a Saturday night?!

I miss Budgens sometimes. Not that we ever did stuff like that though, honest! Although, back in the day when the managers didn't really care, we did spend one Sunday playing cricket on the shop floor with various items from around the store and when facing up the tin aisle, we used to play noughts and crosses with the OXO cubes.

Like I said in another thread, I'm not her hugest fan. Although I think I am warming to her a bit. Has anyone seen her presenting the Album Chart Show on Channel 4? I preferred watching her on that to hearing her on the radio actually.

So glad you told me that, I was just wondering what to listen to! I'm not a big fan of Coxy really, although I am warming to her and I haven't had a chance to listen to Greg yet.

I've had a good day. Woke up pretty early (for me, anyway!) and had the urge to go shopping, so I did. Got some nice, and most importantly, cheap stuff! Got to the bus stop just as the bus was pulling away, and the driver wouldn't let anymore people on so I had to go to HMV to fill the time until the next bus arrived. Bought 'The Last Kiss', which I've been wanting to watch for ages, hopefully it'll be good! Went out tonight, had quite a good night although I didn't go out with the people who I normally go out with, so it was a bit strange. Really tired now, so I should go to sleep... but no, I'm here!! Edit: I feel sick.

Drunken hiccups are the worst, as experienced by me earlier tonight. I enjoyed the 'Summer Years' and Floor Fillers today (yesterday?), FF seemed to go really quickly though! Listening again, as I normally have to do on a Friday, just isn't the same... even when the show has been pre recorded!

I like that Rise Up song lots. Finally decided what to wear... I think!

I always wonder if it has actually taken the pain away, or if I just think it has because I've taken a painkiller? My mind wanders sometimes...

That reminds me of a conversation I had with my mum, when I was telling her about Scott's birthday. It went a bit like like this... Me: "Mum, you know Scott Mills?" My Mum: "Yes Bex, you talk about him enough."
