I can beat that phone bill by a lot. It took me over a year to pay it and it was over £600. Hence, I am now on Pay As You Go, I have been for over 2 years, and I spend about £5 a month, usually on calling my parents and the odd text. A contract phone takes a lot of self control, and also I found that when I was on contract everyone always wanted me to call them back or to borrow my phone, but now I get people to call me back and I save so much money.
  2. As long as it's not another "I'm a celebrity give me more publicity" show.... I hate them... although if it was Scott presenting it I'd watch it.

I know, I tend to not take much money shopping with me, and I try not to take the card. I'll see if I can use it on Amazon... although that could be a bad idea.
  4. Sounds like Virgin Radio's Rock 'n' Roll Football show though. I don't like it when Scott does mornings cos I don't like to wake up before 10am in the holidays, and I only get to listen to about 20 minutes of it on school days. Then I have this time after school when I need entertaining... I don't really have an opinion on switching round though. Anyone Radio 1 have on has to be better than Southern FM.

Electron? You mean debit card? I think I have the same problem. Can't buy online with my debit card, and I think it's an Electron. But that doesn't get to me. What gets to me is how it's not possible in this country, or at least in south east England, to buy a train ticket with a debit card. The ticket machines don't take them, the Internet doesn't take them, and even the people at the stations don't take them. So if I don't have cash, that means a half hour wait in the massive line at Brighton station for the cash machine. I can't wait to be 18 and get a proper adult card. Only 1 month and 5 days! Woo!
  6. Wow! Maturity! What was the point of this thread?

    User Names

Thankfully no one actually calls me funkyseaweed in real life... just online. I have to explain it a lot though. To avoid having to write out the whole stupid story, I'll paste it below from my website. But the gist is, it's difficult to have an original name on the internet. I've started using my real name more, but it's good to have a user name which is almost never taken. "I have had the name funkyseaweed since I was 12. It all started at a summer camp, where we played the Shark game. It was basically a kind of tag game. If you were caught, you had to sing the Funky Seaweed song, and do the dance. Anyway, I was looking for something random to use to register a Hotmail account, and remembered the funky seaweed song. So there we have it. Slightly irrelevant now, 5 years later, but I still need an online name..."
  8. Yeah, I went to the site when they mentioned it and there was no mention of Jo Whiley. Then I refreshed and it wouldn't work. So I kept refreshing and eventually the home page came up, minus the Jo Whiley bit. Then eventually it came up. But it's not so much a poll, more of an email address. I was disappointed...
  9. Haha I know the feeling. Except I finished my coursework in a marathon session just before the Easter holidays began. Handed it in literally at the last minute. I started it in August, that's the worst thing, August 30th I started, March 31st I finished. I really do hate coursework.
  10. That feels better now, having punched the crazy frog 246 times. Ah yes, I see the Chris Moyles one. And the Scott Mills one. Nice site.
  11. Thank you I came across your site yesterday, it's really good.
  12. Not great. It started raining as soon as I decided to go out. I've written 108 words of an essay and I'm worrying about failing my A2 levels. And I just got a student loans form, and it seems more complicated than getting an actual degree! I just want the money... But never mind... got 59 days until my exams start to do some work. And I've done more work than yesterday, when I opened a book, then closed it again because I decided I couldn't face it. Now, I'm killing time on the internet. But yeah, that was today.
