  1. Oh my god... "how are you fat boy?" "fat boy?!"
  2. The portugal one is great.....
  3. Before my Latin GCSEs I played frisbee in all my study leave and got an A*. But before my AS exams I spent most of the time sunbathing and chatting to friends... and got a handfull of Bs, Cs and Ds, and had to do a lot of resits. So the moral is, GCSE you can afford to mess around, AS and A2 you can't. I don't remember being that scared about GCSEs though, except when waiting outside the exam room before the exam. I was predicted A*s for english, and got an A and a B.
  4. And this is my favourite song of last summer... Dakota... so good music
  5. Glad I didn't take that GCSE with the booklet missing... haha stupid exam board.
  6. English literature isn't a nice exam to be honest. It's probably the longest GCSE you'll take. Ok, so last year I did over 6 hours of exams in a day (I get extra time, so it was really long) but at GCSE English isn't nice. I found it hard writing 3 essays about 3 entirely different things. It was my only B at GCSE. But, the good news is, I found that once I'd done a few exams -- english lit was my third GCSE -- I stopped getting so nervous. You might actually find that doing something to relax will help, because really if you don't know it now, revising at this point won't help you. Play some games or watch TV and try to forget about it. The younger people round here have english lit tomorrow and some of them are quite scared too... Edit: Ditto DC, did it in 2004, friday afternoon before half term, when I was just a wee 15 year old
  7. I've had an ok day. I've been doing army, and I'm now wearing army kit as I sit here... it's really comfy though, apart from the boots which aren't so comfy for just sitting in. Only 4 days left of school, and I never have to do that horrible monday timetable ever again
  8. By the way, Jono, how come it now says we were all christened "field6"? I know that isn't my real name... don't know about the rest of you.
  9. Hmm... the stupid school computers for some reason still think Westwood is on doing the Sunday surgery... they should really sort them out. Webcam picture looks slightly blurred to me.
  10. I forgot: according to Wikipedia, I share my birthday with Ken Livingstone. It is also apparently National Badger Day. Woot!
  11. DC, you share the birthday of a friend of mine, who is also 18 on 11th July. Last year I met this Czech boy who joined my school and he was born on the same day in the same year as me, the first person I've ever met who's exactly the same age as me.
  12. I've spent the morning doing latin and I still haven't finished, because I was listening to Vernon at the same time and I didn't do much work. I gotta go now and do more of my mountain of Latin work... only 5 days of school, and 27 days till I turn 18
  13. It is quite catchy, yeah.
  14. They're already ahead. I didn't see their entry anyway. You can download all the songs on the Eurovision site if you want to -- only 1.29euros each...
  15. That German cowboy dude is just scary though. ..
  16. The mix of languages and cultures is quite interesting... I love the way everyone else manages to talk in English and gets it translated into French, but the French have to say it in their own language... typical frogs.
  17. This Dutch guy is weird... and did Armenia just overtake the UK..?
  18. Can you imagine being there and actually having to pretend to like this stuff and watch it without laughing? Bye Ema, enjoy BB
  19. I just figured these interludes with the music would probably make more sense if there was a commentary, like if I was actually watching it on TV.
  20. He's doing the "my feet are actually glued to the floor but I'm dancing anyway" move... Is the webcast up to speed? He looks like he should be a woman... he's got long hair at the back. "flesh on my flesh, bone on my bone" hmm...
  21. I'm watching the online webcast of it... hmm Russia...

    i am back!!

I remember I was on a train when I heard you and Jono on it, I was listening on my mobile, and I was laughing, and I got some weird looks too.

    Voting

You can be on the Electoral Register without being 18, I think when you're about 16. I got sent some letters about postal voting last year. But they won't actually let you vote until you're 18, cos we just had local elections here, a month or so too early for me to vote. They probably saw your name on the electoral register and assumed you were old enough.

    I Spy!

Hehe - maybe I've got a camera on you too.... No, I was just looking around this room. Why do I have the light on anyway?! I think I'm going to go now and go for a ride on my bike and hope it doesn't rain I'm getting quite into Google Image Searching...
