I believe there is a solar eclipse tomorrow when the Moon passes over the sun blocking the light down to Earth. I think I heard them say it would happen sometime around 10:45ish - 12:30ish Today. Anybody planning on watching it? Sadly I think I will be stuck in the office or the Doctors surgery Remember if watching the eclipse be very careful not to look directly at the sun as it can cause permanent eye damage. Yeah but remember Dirty Den was shot and went into the canal, presumed dead..... Even the beloved Harold Bishop was washed off some rocks when he was down beside the sea, he was also presumed dead. Miraculously these characters reappeared (and disappeared!) Killing off a character and then re-introducing them is a sign of desperation, once they are killed off they shouldnt re-appear IMO

Some Unison strike Viv, Schools in Perth have told students to stay at home tomorrow incase the schools are on strike, this gives the parents time to organise arrangements for the children if the parents are working for example. HOORAY !!!!! No work tomorrow, no news on strike action being averted so we are being given the day off

Viv, I suppose the main reason for doing this is because people may tend to record the radio, then they can copy the songs onto CD and then maybe distribute them.

It was the catering company that provides the "tuck shop" for staff and students, they are the ones that provided these products, they have now removed them from purchase.

Staghead, I suppose people react to chemicals in a different way. Trust me, working in a college is noisy and rowdy enough without having more hyperactive kids screaming away in the corridors.

Our college has decided to stop selling Ciggies and other tobacco products, hooray!. As for red bull I dont see why they should ban it, maybe to do with hyperactivity in the classes? Definately a few out of control students about

Sorry DC, Cant say I was much of a fan of Mark & Lard when they were on Radio 1, found them a bit tedious.
