I don't think she would take the week off because of that.It's the trial of a boyfriend from years ago. She has nothing to do with it. I guess its reasonable to assume that she might be 'papped' a bit more than usual this week though.If she had a weeks leave due this is as good as any to take it. I know everyones innocent till proven guilty but if he's found guilty all I can say is thank God Fearne dumped him before she had kids with him!

Good to see Scott getting a whole week on breakfast at christmas for a change .Also nice to see them sharing out depping duties between Matt Gemma and Huw.Poor old Dev has drawn the short straw again i see.Only xmas day off and doing breakfast on new years day! Still it'll pay well I suppose

Wierd that she's taking a whole week off at such short notice esp as coxy says she's taking a long holiday at Xmas and has been off for most of the year on maternity. Maybe it's compassionate leave because a close relative has died or something

Sadly for Radio 1 Pete Allison has signed up to Absolute Radio where he is doing his own weekend overnight show starting tonight. Well done to Pete, but it's a shame Radio 1 have lost the chance to have him He's on 2am tonight if you want to give him a listen

I now have the full schedule up till friday december 20. The only changes are Dev doing Scotts show on friday (with Adele doing Devs show), Dev doing Matts show this weekend, Alice Levine doing Huws show this weekend,and Sara Cox doing Fearnes show on fri, dec 6 and mon dec 9 and Matt doing Scotts show on fri dec 6. Apart from that everythng is as normal I'm hoping to have the full christmas schedule by this time next week

Probably Huws just busy doing other stuff.Turns out the reason Alice Levine did drivetime 2 weeks ago was because Huw was in Iceland at a festival, so I don't think we've heard the last of him on weekday cover just yet

I agree with what you say about Huw.He would be far better suited to doing a new music show on sundays following the chart show.That would also set him up as Zanes successor when he decides to move on. I fear that would mean that Dan and Phil would be moved to weekend afternoons though .Or maybe if Dev takes over Huws slot Dan and Phil could take over early breakfast?

Matt will be sitting in for Scott again on friday december 6. Has the radio 1 boss finally got over his Huw Stephens obsession?!

Can't guarantee there will be changes in january,but I think there will be some during 2014. Ben Cooper apparantely has a 2 year plan for the station which started when grimmy took over breakfast, so that ends next september. By then we should see his dream line up.Might be a nightmare f or the rest of us though! Maybe that plan includes Greg James taking over breakfast .Some people think that's what Cooper wanted all along, and Grimmy was just meant to be a short term replacement for Moyles to absorb the inevitable loss of listeners

Well Matt Edmondson is on holiday the weekend after next so that suggests he might be working over the christmas period

I have a feeling that Dev will take over Huws slot permanently,maybe in the new year.Huw is taking more and more time off so I think he'll focus on his wed night show and weekday stand in duties from now on, and its obvious that Dev is desperate to get away from early breakfast! Don't know if you remember but when Scott finished earlies after 5 years he moved to the weekend 1pm slot at first,before he took over drivetime from Coxy when she went on maternity leave. So the same thing could happen with Dev

Greg James was a last minute replacement for Nick Grimshaw as host of the student awards last night. I've no idea why Grimmy was replaced at the last minute but there's bound to be speculation in the press that this means Greg could replace Grimmy on something else in the not too distant future.

Sara will also be doing Fearnes show on friday december 6 according to Digiguide

I suppose Greg deserves to have it off on christmas day for once!

You're in luck because Dev's doing quite a lot of daytime cover in the next few weeks.He's sitting in f or Huw t his weekend, he's sitting in for Scott on friday nov 22,then for Matt Edmondson on sat nov 23 and sun nov 24. I have a feeling t his could all be leading up to him getting his own daytime show in the near future!

Well it was about this time last year that R1 announced the new weekend schedule so if it hasn't worked out maybe they'll announce more changes for the new year any day now.I doubt they'll give Coxy her old slot back though somehow. Now she has her sat night show on R2 she probably wouldn't do a weekend show on radio 1 as well anyway because I think she wants to spend more time with her kids

Do you think that when Scott decides to move on that they could put Alice and Phil Taggart on the 1-4 slot in an attempt to recreate the Colin and Edith show? I think it's a possibility. They might even be in the running for breakfast

Gemma Cairney will be sitting in for Fearne on thursday november 7 and fri nov 8. Presumably the reason Coxys not doing it is that she's doing Vannessa Feltz's show on radio 2 all that week.Even so it might indicate that radio 1 might not use Sara as a stand in much longer now that she's on radio 2
