I think the idea of the Rock Show is to provide an alternative to xfactor/bgt etc however think Annie and The Rock show should swap. Still think 4 hours of Dev is a bit of overkill. I'd put Alice and Phil on at 7am with Dev at 1pm . I'd put a music/sports themed show at 10am-1pm Sat before sports fans will go to matches/switch to 5 live. - Greg James, Chris Smith and Simon Mundie maybe?

The only reason why news is on the hour is because my playlist is a repeat of shows previously recorded without newsbeat. Radio 1 did on the hour news inbetween prerecorded repeats before a few years ago

Radio 1 needs new talent! I think Pete and Adam Catterall would have been more suited to weekend breakfast! Guess its cut backs but Gemma/Dev & Matt imo are not in same league as Chappers & Dave, Vernon/Sara etc. Pete Donaldson and Sarah champion from Absolute would be good for Radio 1 imo I'd also like Chris Stark have a go at covering shows at weekend

He's now moved from Absolute Radio to Capital Yorkshire drivetime! 4-7pm. He did start to do some daytime weekend shows at Absolute. Guess that's the end of sharing him with Radio 1.
