    My first memory of R1 was listening to Simon Mayo on the breakfast show because I fancied him and I hated listening to my local commercial station because the ads got on my nerves. I listened to the chart show every sunday with Bruno Brookes and listened with anticipation to see what No1 would be. I also remember going to see Gary Davis at the roadshow in Lyme Regis. "Whoooo Gary Davis, Whoooo Gary Davis on the ra-di-o". That's what they made us sing. Now I think about it, it's quite lame really, !!!.

    I don't like the wind but as far as I'm concerned there's nothing better than waking up to a grey, miserable and rainy day. Love it!! Waking up to a bright sunny day does nothing for me. I love the dark mornings and dark evenings and hate it when it's daylight from 5am till 9pm. Just my opinion and no, I'm not a vampire!
