  1. how on earth would he be able to perv on Adele?! Seriously though, why do they want her on the show? She's very very over rated.
  2. I'm gonna need to listen again to this one. It was on at work but I wasn't fully paying attention. Whenever he is in on the show I find it amazing how well the pair of them seem to get on,.

    Beer Gardens

I'm either on the J2O or lemonade, not because I'm underage but because I'm tee total
  4. I loved the outtakes as well, surprising how many places he struggled with.
  5. Because if they weren't referring to him as "motor mouth DJ Chris Moyles", it would be "roly poly Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles" Its pathetic that they have to give him a label anyway, but remember that the red tops hate him. If they can't put him down for something he has said on air which their journalists have then twisted, they will have to make a bitchy comment about his appearance instead.
  6. I don't think any double act will ever replace the brilliance that was the Chappers and Dave shows
  7. Well it certainly explains there was a good reason for having that creepy moustache
  8. Worryingly some people do seem to genuinely believe KL is a real person haha
  9. Absolutely, and bin off that dreadful Celebrity Rapsberry. I'm not really a fan of his show, but I think Westwood is actually a really funny guy, it was nice to hear him on WWAI just having a bit of fun.
  10. I can't say I'm intersted in the story, but I'm sure there might not be a bit problem on celeb juice. Remember Keith Lemon is not a real person, and although the character can be a bit of a tit I'm sure Leigh Francis will be careful not to cause any offence when he's playing him.
  11. To be honest I don't think that means anything these days, I don't understand my politics or geography enough to say this for certain, but I my understanding is that Azerbaijan, the winners of Eurovision, might actually be in Asia.
  12. Certainly not, the only good thing to ever come from that station was Dev, and fortunately Radio 1 rescued him before it was too late.
  13. I don't quite understand the argument there. Paying the license fee and taxes should have no bearing on what a famous face gets up to in their private life. If they are doing something criminal then yes by all means run a story on it, but my argument is that a story such as the mystery footballer (not going to say his name as I don't know if posting it could come back to bite the site and Jono on the bum) doesn't exactly have anything to do with his abilities as a footballer so why can't he be entitled to deal with the matter privately without the scum journalists getting their grubby hands all over it? I'm not defending whatever may or may not have been done with Imogen Thomas. I just think that peoples privacy should be respected and if the media doesn't want to respect it, they should be forced to by way of injunctions and gagging orders.
  14. Oh great, now we're gonna be plagued with 1Xtra shit as well now. I definitly won't be applying for tickets for this 1, it'll all be Drivell Nelson and his colleagues from upstairs being far too exicted about every and any random singer who will more than likely be female as well.
  15. Excellent, we don't have enough Nihal on the radio these days.
  16. My point is that just because someone is in the public eye doesn't mean that the world has any more right to know about their personal lives than they do about you or I. Yes there is more interest because they are high profile, but that is down to nothing more than selfish noseyness on the part of readers and gossips. Just because there is demand for something, doesn't necessarily mean that those demanding it are deserving or entitled to whatever it is.
  17. I don't think twitter can be sued for people announcing things on there which the media is supposed to be censored over. HOWEVER, I do think its 100% right that the individual posting that sort of information should be sued by the people concerned. On a side note regarding injunctions and superinjunctions, I totally agree with them being saught in order to prevent details of someones private life being discussed. I thoroughly detest the culture of celebrity, and lets face it a lot of the time non celebrity, lifestyle. The media to be very selfish, ruthless and thoughtless gossip mongers. Those who insist on buying these rags are frankly little better. I take the recent story about Imogen Thomas and the mystery married footballer. Firstly I do not care about a former Big Brother contestant or who they choose to be involved with, nor do I care about what any sportsman gets up to. Had the papers been allowed to get their dirty little hands on this then they would have had a field day, running the story as front page news with little or no regard to how those affected would feel, not just Imogen and the footballer, but also his wife and any children he may or may not have. If I was to ask you where you were going on holiday, where you buy your clothes, or who the last person you slept with was, you would be well within your rights to tell me to f*ck off and mind my own business. Why on earth should it be any different for someone just because they are well known? the phrase "private life" crucially contains the word private, meaning it is not for the disclosure or knowledge of others.
  18. The apps task just generated 2 total loads of garbage, really can't be bothered with those damn things at all. The task this week was great, but also very uncomfortable to watch. A friend of mine made the best comment I've ever heard about any of the tasks. Shortly after the nonsense over the top hat I got a text saying "I don't know much about business, but I do know you can't buy a top hat at a dry cleaners". Just goes to show what I've believed for a long time, just because you can talk the talk and have a fancy job, doesn't necessarily mean you have a great deal of common sense.
  19. Thats what I watched this year, its not as good without Terry Wogan doing the commentary for it. The thing I find amusing is that 1 of the muppets from Blue was talking on something last week and said that the other countries felt the UK wasn't taking it seriously by sending in absolutely sh*t acts like Scooch when they have a huge pool of popstars, singers, musicians etc. So Blue get sent in, seemingly to make it look like the UK is taking it a bit more seriously, but then all the other countries start scoring Jedward quite well? So Europe, NOW who isn't taking things seriously?
  20. I'm fairly anti-drug as well, but we all know that there are people who do them in their various forms anyways. If they are pay very close attention to not glorify it or condone it, then I say let them make the program and show it. Like with everything else, if people don't like the subject matter or think they are likely to be offended by the content but choose to watch it then they don't really have a right to complain, nobody makes them watch it.
  21. The right guy went last night, he seemed to be on there just to get out of accountancy. Very surprised at the boys losing to the girls in tonights task. Neither, like most apps I imagine, was really worthy of winning but the girls weren't that good and I already don't like this weeks PM and the Asian girl seems to be a bit of a child when not getting her own way.
  22. On the whole R1 have far far better presenters though. Safe to say I will not be listening to TN when he's on, Sara can be funny but both he and his music are unbearable.
  23. Huw must be unavailable, as he usually covers for Zane, either that or Mistajam does a simulcast
  24. the Folkface show would be quite good actually, Dave and Dom are very funny guys as well as Chris.
