  1. After the David Gest / Lisa Minelli image you presented me with, don't know if I dare to even try sleeping tonight! My last dream was really dark and unpleasant, so I need all the help I can get. Will look at your cute rabbit, that'll help. So will Wes the dog. Why don't we wake up and remember the good dreams? I know I have some of those too, it's fantastic to wake up with a smile. Nx

EEEEEEWWWW!!!! Now I'm trying to think of something worse! Tricky:puke: Haha. Have been waiting for the opportunity to use vomitting smiley face! God I'm immature.
  3. No you're right, b****r all. :grrr: I'll carry on trying though. Nx
  4. Like CSI Vegas best, Grissom is an amazing character, but Gary Dourdan is the real clincher!
  5. Missed that too. I work 3 - 10! I'll try utube, but long shot.
  6. Ooooh Jake Gyllenhall (sp) is on telly. Weird film, but might have to lust after him a bit, and maybe post some stuff on girlie thread. Nx
  7. Good point. But did you see him on Ready Steady Cook? Nx
  8. If it was all sci fi and monsters we wouldn't be watching it. Jack will 'absolutely adore' the new Doctor!
  9. Parkie is a legend, I think it just seemed a bit scripted. Also I'm much more used to (and prefer) Johnathan Ross's style of interviewing, and I think if the interviewee is intelligent, witty and naturally amusing like David, JR gets much more out of them. Did you see that episode of DT with his dad in Ready Steady Cook? Not only is he delectable and all of the above, but he knows his way round a kitchen pretty well too! Nx
  10. Don't worry, I always listen to Scott later (I work strange hours), the radio 2 listen again will work too. What did you think of David on Parkie? I thought he seemed gorgeous but a bit stilted, Parkie's fault! Nx
  11. Very nice. Thought you'd be tucked up by now otherwise. Not a holiday in Spain tomorrow unfortunately. Can you download Richard's show afterwards? Nx
  12. Fair enough. But I'm a hour ahead. Get up, make a cup of tea, chuck Vernon on, go back to bed and doze.
  13. Do you have a bank holiday tomorrow Kelly?
  14. Hello again, Loved Mark Gatis on Doctor Who. Really scarey creature! He wrote one of the best scripts for the programme too. DT in a DJ - yummy! I wear Converse with suits to work. Think it's a good look, and they're really comfy. Bought my first pair almost 20 years ago. Little treat for you all (going to pop it on girly thread too, just incase not ALL girlies are obsessed with Dr Who). Just to get us ready for the return of the Captain! Ooooh found other lovely piccie for sentimental Dr fans (Kelly and Timski) Nx;)

True, but HOW he managed to become as rich and famous as he is now -with zero looks and talent and minus personality is possibly an interesting story. I know he was brought up in LA (don't think in a wealthy neighbourhood). He was 'BEST mates' with the Jacksons then married poor old Lisa Minelli. I'd like to hear about how he clawed himself up to where he is now, instead of watching his horrible scalp being massaged and spray painted in a futile attempt to pimp his (virtually non-existent) hair!?! Let's get him on Scott's show instead of Moyles's. He's an experienced hairdresser afterall! Ha, Chopper could think up a new game along this theme. Nx
  16. Simon Pegg next week - that should be good!

He makes me cringe so much I almost lost my dinner, don't think I could stomach him again. Which planet is he from? Love Moyles's imitation of him though.
  18. I'm really enjoying it. Loads of amazing telly moments. Ooooh Vic and Bob! Nx:D
  19. Adam and the Ants: Prince Charming, Stand and Deliver (esp with vids on you tube) Creedence Clearwater, love those long haired hippy types, think ELO were imitating them rather than Beatles. Agree about Prince Kelly, were you listening to Vernon today? He is the master. Nx
  20. Does anyone agree, it seems soooo hard (and time-consuming) to compile decent playlists. Have just found the treasure that is limewire, am also beginning to shove my own stuff into my poor laptop. Unfortunately, now I have had to start compiling playlists. If I don't, anyone who comes to my place is treated to the MOST randomn list of stuff on the stereo; from Kate Bush to Razorlight and sounds of Chopper kissing animals, Barbara Streisand to Pixies and The Orb, Stone Roses to GLC and Prodigy, The Killers and Groove Armada to Billy Holiday (don't get any sampling ideas there boys, WOULD NOT be amused)! Not all of this is necessarily everyone's cup of tea, I understand. My gran loves El Divo; well each to their own. Just pop on Radio 3 for her, bless. Compiling playlists is a VERY TRICKY business. My latest playlist, is poetically entitled 'REALLY 'P****D OFF' Starts off with head banging punk (Pixies, Ramones, Sex Pistols), relieves the aggression s'pose. Followed by a bit of grunge. Then Smiths, shoe-gazer hits and general wallow-in-it stuff. But, do you want to stay miserable, or just headbang, dance about and cheer youself up? So we move on to frantic dance music (just chucked on Pendulum, Prodigy, Underworld...) Then remembered new camp Armand van Helden song, and Groove Armada. Just finished compiling my 'REALLY P*****D OFF' playlist, and I'm not 'p******d off' anymore. There's a moral to the tale. Nx PS Still need advice as to: 'Romantic', 'Young-trendy', 'In-laws-coming to dinner' playlists!
  21. Shame I didn't realise how fortunate I was at the time. Think I remember demanding of them rather drunkenly (with ringing ears) why they didn't smash a guitar up on stage (as was their custom at the time); Was a student union gig not BIG enough to warrent the cost of a guitar? Also raved about their music in particularly girly way. He was very shy and sweaty, Dave was much more opinionated (in a good way) and even sweatier. Just how I like them. Nx
  22. Red button normally works, will keep my fingers crossed!
  23. Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl in scabby student council office when they played QM Union Glasgow Uni 1992. Saw it freeeee! Don't know how that concert was ever pulled off, but feel v fortunate to have been there. Lovely men. This is most impressive Have tonnes more, but then I'm old. Just cos they're famous....doesn't mean they're any better than us, so what's the fuss? Nx
