Jorja Smith stole the show with a stripped-back Live Lounge performance that left Charlie and Jerry's studio in silence. Jerry said it was "the first Live Lounge we've had where not a single person in our studio has said a word genuinely," praising her cover of Olivia Dean's A Couple of Minutes, performed with just guitarist Tom.
Charlie admitted the track had reduced her to tears in some unlikely places, saying "I've been crying at work, I've been crying in the supermarket, I've been crying in the car."

Before the performance, Charlie owned up to a domestic disaster, revealing she'd accidentally put her phone in the washing machine and asking Jorja for DIY fixes live on air. Jorja suggested the classic bag-of-rice trick, only for Charlie to confess she'd already resorted to putting it in a sock by the radiator instead.

Jorja also used her studio chat to confirm a big 2027 date, announcing a show at the O2 on 17th July, which happens to fall on her birthday. She spoke about performing for Harry Styles in Mexico City over the summer, upcoming shows in Brazil, Chile and Argentina, and her new dance album, which she said was built from nine songs written in just two days with producer P2J.
The One Second Club challenge also continued, with Eddie from Taunton wrongly guessing a mystery clip was Prodigy's Firestarter, though Charlie and Jerry confirmed he was "in the right realm" genre-wise.
