Sam and Danni back Tinie Tempah playing Scunthorpe

Sam and DanniRecap of the show on

Sam and Danni kicked off their noughties hour with some proper pop gossip about Rihanna, who was asked on TikTok Live how much unreleased music she's sitting on. Danni relayed the answer: "If there are ten products in a vault, then I have at least 17 vaults," which the pair worked out meant 170 unreleased songs. Danni couldn't resist a plea on air for Rihanna to finally "give us her back" after years of guest verses and side projects.

The Traitors got a mention too, with the pair admitting they're avoiding spoilers after missing two episodes, while reading out a listener's theory that Little Mix's Leanne may have been voted out simply for wearing lipstick. Sam and Danni also had fun with James Blunt's stint on the show, joking that fellow contestant Miranda seems to be "thirsting" over him, before playing You're Beautiful in his honour.

Elsewhere, the duo revealed Tinie Tempah has promised to finally play a free gig in Scunthorpe, a place he's long been teased about never visiting, if his new album The Night's Not Dead hits 5,000 presaves. Sam and Danni urged listeners to help him hit the target this week.

Looking ahead to Radio 1's Live Lounge Month, Sam and Danni confirmed Stella Rhyder will perform her first ever Live Lounge on Monday at midday, following recent sessions from Blossoms, Declan McKenna, Nothing But Thieves and Sam Smith. They even floated song requests for her to cover, including Jamie Miller's Baby Doll.
