Goooood Day!
Accept no imitations, there is only one way to celebrate your Friday
We’re all in a good mood today and I think you know why, asapart from enjoying the sun…
**** iiiiiiit’s only bley friiiiiiiiday! ****
Today Scott was a bit confused about Jo Whiley aka Mad Moose, as he is now Pinot Grigo girl. Scott had something bad in his head during this mind, but decided to end that thought there before he said it on air.
Scott was on The Xtra Factor last night, he met Sharon Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne was doing her make-up.
Chappers: “And it was still good?”
Scott: “Yeah…”
More cringe-worthy sounds of James Hewitt and Rebecca Toilets. He thought James Hewitt’s bloodshot eye was just as cringe-worthy as his singing. Scott reckons he sounds way too posh, which is ironic coming from the guy who sounds very posh when he has a few drinks. Wonder what James is like when he’s had a few. There’s no chance of James on Princess Diana – The Musical is there. Scott thought Lucy Benjamin was the best singer of the night. He also met the brother of the girl who had the Lucy Benjamin tattoo on her shoulder. If you didn’t hear that link from about 2 years ago it involved a lot of laughing which led to a disastrous 10 or 15 minutes as Laura, Chappers and Scott tried to compose themselves.
Scott was a bit annoyed at comments about his white teeth today – most probably coming from the Unofficial Mills forum – I thought his teeth were whiter than the white UV bar in front of him. Apparently this was because they were under a white UV bar and it made his teeth look a lot brighter.
Scott: “Next time you see X Factor look at Simon’s teeth, they’re much whiter”
Record of the Week
This week’s Record of the Week is All-American Rejects’ Dirty Little Secret. In my opinion it sounds better everytime I hear this track. How about James and Rebecca singing this song on the final? I’m sure there’s a bit of irony there.
The World Cup on Radio 1
Scotty to Motty
Scott and Chappers are looking for knowledgeable people to help Scott out with the World Cup this year. Early breakfast was a bit of a disaster when it came to football. Chappers reckons the younger listeners will be better at their knowledge about football as they’re the sort who swap stickers and are glued to the box.
Scott: “Do they still do that?”
Chappers: “My mum almost threw me down the stairs over football stickers – that’s how serious it was”
Get on to Radio 1’s interweb if you’re between 8 and 13 and want to register yourself as a football expert. I’m thinking he could be the new Gary Lineaker on crisps – with the football knowledge, and the ears.
Diverting those that are flirting
As Thursday is the new Friday tonnes of people have been giving out the Flirt Divert number over the past 24 hours. Scott had some of those messages today. Patty was calling Di asking for tonnes of work, but obviously she’ll never get a reply, looks like they’re missing out on a lot of help. Another person had a scenario involving keys but didn’t seem to know each other and one of them had given him the Flirt Divert Number. Chris from Mansfield had 30 ton of silage for Mr Peely, another silly name game and finally Peter would love a call back as the girl he was ringing had a full ‘voicebox’.
“Don’t be a scaredy cat, ‘cos it’s nice”
Good mornin’ to whatever that’s about.
The Wonder Years
Not going out tonight? You’ll want to now following tonight’s Wonder Years. I’m no good with naming dance tracks, but I’ll give it a shot – here’s some of the popular tracks from tonight’s Wonder Years:
1994 – Let Me Be Your Fantasy – Baby D
1996 – I Ain’t Mad At Cha – 2Pac
1997 – Just A Girl – No Doubt
1999 – The Sun is Shining – Bob Marley vs. Funkstar De Luxe
2000 – Steal My Sunshine – Len
2001 – Starlight – Supermen Lovers
2002 – Shake Ur Body – Shy FX & T Power featuring Di
2003 – X Gonna Give It To Ya – DMX
2004 – Mr Brightside – The Killers
2005 – Jaque Your Body – Les Rhythm Digitale
And boy, you loved it. Lucinda on the forum said: “[The Killers] made my day, screaming out Mr Brightside at the top of my voice and jumping around my bedroom” and Serin simply said: “I love Scott Mills”.
