Following Chris’ disappearance act, Scott informed listeners that Chris is fine and he’ll be back on tomorrow morning.
Laura’s got balls!
And today she put them to good use when trying to play the international World Cup songs, with the aid of some dodgy translation websites. The aim was to simply ask if she could get some information on if it would be fine to play the song on Radio 1 – all she had to do was ask it in French, German and Portugese. By the time she got to the Portugese she’d asked ‘fat boy’ if he’d like some ‘tongue action’ thanks to the team’s fixed translation. The guy on the other end of the phone wasn’t interested in copping off with her and put the phone down.
Other Notable Events
Some rather gross discussion of sexually transmitted diseases from last night’s Sunday Surgery, some mystery gig billboards were going on display in Pickering for Laura, and forum member Arual was on Your Call.
A reasonably good show tonight, although I think we need to hear more from all of the on-air team members — Scott, Chappers and Laura.
