Highlights from the show
What with exams going on and me being on the forum every day I thought it was time to have a break from Unofficial Mills for a week or so. But it doesn't mean I'm not devoted as I'm always listening to the show, and I've got a run down of today's just for you lucky people…
Scott was still convinced someone had left his phone number on a toilet door as he'd had a message from someone who was on the loo. But was it that or had someone heard yesterday's show and called him up? Chappers is still denying involvement as was the one of the ones that doesn’t speak – although he didn’t say anything on air.
Chappers went out with Dave yesterday to the local pub to celebrate his birthday. He had a few sandwiches and champagne which Chappers thought was nice, but it turned out to be a few bits left over from the wake that was going on behind him. Dave even popped open the champagne as it was taking place! Fortunately he didn't chat up any of the mourners at the wake.
It was also the show where it was the return of the secret psychos. Scott had a call fro a girl who didn't want to see a guy any more, so purposely wrote his number on a few toilet doors at pubs near where she lives. She then dumped him for having weird callers and accused him of having an affair. Putting ideas in the listeners' heads perhaps? Watch out mothers…
Would Scott's mum fall for more gullible stories on the phone? Chappers pretended to be stuck in the middle of a fold up bed. He needed the toilet, and wanted to know if by wetting himself he'd get electrocuted. The second button moved the bed down the stairs. Her response? 'Hello Scott is that you are you playing with me?' Looks like she's not as gullible as she came across yesterday. There was more abuse from the listeners saying Scott is cruel to be doing this, whilst others wanted her number and told Scott get some new material. What happens when Scott the technophobe gets stuck in a fold up bed? It'll have to be Laura he rings then… Perhaps of the weaker phone games Scott’s done, but still was quite funny yesterday.
And there were more calls to telephone numbers on the back of toilet doors. Chappers rung a man calling about a 'job' but the guy was puzzled by this. He then said all the vacancies were now closed. He also rung another guy who he believed to be 'randy' but his name wasn't 'randy' and he wasn't offering any wind surfing action or anything adventurous. Not everyone’s in to water sports.
