Even before 7am the action kicked off with Ordinary Boys which was Scott’s favourite song when he was in Disneyland Paris with Gareth and Laura. A French lady then came over to the two and asked if they were Chantelle and Preston… which provided puzzled looks all-around! You can just imagine the discussion can’t you…
After the successful pilot episode of Meal or No Meal yesterday, Chappers didn’t bring in any dog food… but…
Chappers: Sometimes you have to have a bit of faith in me…
Scott: Yeah
Chappers: I bought some new tins… No dog food… Ok, and because it’s Friday I’ve gone for some fish, so some Salmon, OK
Scott: O what so normal Salmon?
Chappers: No, Salmon flavoured Whiskers…
After the 7am news Scott was moaning about Chappers slack Sport reporting. He thought Wigan Super League team were playing but wasn’t sure… That’s Chappers all over isn’t it!
Despite some people having doubts at 7:17 it was The Ramm Ring call. Today was better than yesterday in the sense they actually listened and liked it! This person sent a text to the studio saying how much they liked it… Wake up call indeed! Later on in the show was the 2nd Ramm Ring Call… but it went the way of the first one with a rather annoyed man on the end of the phone!
And now for the little segment that is appearing more and more in every show now, Other News.
The first one was about Cinemas in Japan pumping out Colin Farrell’s scent. Chappers thought that it wouldn’t be anything special, just a normal manly odour.
Next was that Martin Fowler is leaving Eastenders…
Scott: What’s your favourite Martin Fowler moment? Mine is the ill-advised drug story when Martin was like “I’m feeling the ease-it man” and shaking the washing powder round the Launderette.
Chappers: He sat on the bench at the allotment sometimes didn’t he?
The discussion trailed on to Coronation Street, Chappers favourite. Scott was watching it and was thinking “Who are all these new people?” Then on to Neighbours…
Chappers: I saw Neighbours for the first time yesterday
Scott: So did I
Chappers: Has Harold turned into some kind of killer? He seems to have turned into some kind of violent thug…
Finally, Brad Pitt had a new hairstyle; the guys thought he was starting to lose his looks because of his kids!
Now to Laura the Vigilante and Rich the loud and late flatmate. It finally worked today, no noise at all last night! Paul did have Tonsillitis, which could have had something to do with it. So here’s something to remember, use to Scooter to wake that annoying late night loud mouth up and maybe some Rammstein afterwards to make sure he doesn’t go to sleep again. Another mention of the site and Jono in this segment where he told Scott his favourite Scooter hit.
And now to one of Chappers mad ideas… The 2nd Meal or No Meal. It was Laura’s turn to go first and it was… Prunes! The pressure was back onto Scott. But it was Macaroni Cheese! Laura’s second tin was… Steak! Now with 3 left it was Scott’s turn again… but it was Spaghetti Hoops! 2 left now and Laura’s turn… IT’S THE CAT FOOD! So it’s 2-0 to Scott! Laura was then labelled Kitty Breath!
Chappers has been trying to get Jo Whiley an airport named after her. So far Blackpool Airport has turned down her but a jet is going to be named after her. Newquay Airport had some bad news to start with, that they couldn’t rename the airport. But they are going to name a new departure lounge after her when built in the summer. Good work I think for something that only took a week! What a surprise for Jo as well!
Flirt Divert
Flirt Divert to round off the show! First, do you remember the cartoon voiceover man from earlier this week? Now people are phoning the Flirt Divert line with their cartoon impressions!

Comments: Still a bit too much music for my liking but on the whole the features and chat was quite funny, especially the Meal or No Meal!
