One Night With Laura
Who should win One Night With Laura? Scott was back on the airwaves this afternoon for another gripping show – this time it's the final. But before Scott could get on with the show, there's one important message Scott has to get across…
So this all started after the unfortunate boyfriends Scott's colleague Laura had in the 4 seasons of Laura's Diary. Scott decided to change all that for Laura, and got lads from across the country to apply for this very competition online. Since then the team along with some equally capable judges, have whittled the contestants down to just two. Ben was booted off earlier this afternoon on Colin's show, but there's still one more contestant that will unluckily miss the chance for a date with Laura.
Who can pull the cheesiest smile? Shep or Laura?
It's been a long journey hasn't it? Some will probably argue it was longer for them than others, and we've met some interesting characters who have captured the hearts of the nation. Including Big Norm with his ear talents, the guy who had a girlfriend who turned into a lesbian pretty much after they started going out and the guy who likes Viking festivals (they're spontaneous adventures!)
Scott was getting some beef off of the Hilton Hotel who claimed Scott hadn't stayed on the tour bus in the auditions and was staying at their place as they have his pants to prove it. Scott and Chappers didn't quite understand that, the only pants related conversation recently was when he went commando at the beginning of the week.
So it's the finals, how are the finalists feeling? Gareth wasn't expecting to get this far in the competition, whilst Shep was having a ball. Both contestants have the local newspapers after them but Gareth wasn't really interested. Last night there was a heated discussion about the UK – Gareth doesn't like living in the UK and everything's rubbish here. He also thinks the queen is a waste of time and Ben wasn't very happy about that. An update on Ben's horse was it fell three fences from the end (how appropriate). Gareth would like to make it clear that his comments about being an 'inbred' weren't intended to be aired and he thought the microphone was off.

So by the end of the first hour the voting lines were closed, and the votes had been counted. But only one of the two – Shep or Gareth – could be Laura's boyfriend. And the winner? It could only be Gareth.
Gareth (on Paris): Do I actually have to go then?
Shep: Can I just say I am in London tonight, so if anyone wants to text in then feel free…
Only one thing can follow that… the best bits! He's come a long way since his interweb/ear audition, and now he's going to Paris as Laura's boyfriend. So it's Laura, Gareth… and, er, Scott… off to gay Paris for the weekend.
