Sir. Chris Moyles and the team will be back on the mornings from Monday, but it’s safe to say Scott’s done an admirable job holding the fort. Because of all the hard work he’s put in lately, Scott will be taking a cheeky week off from his normal afternoon slot next week and Vernon Kay will be filling in. Meanwhile, Spoony has been filling in for Scott for the past two weeks don’t forget. I sure hope you’ve been waking up with Mills and getting home with Spoons for the past 2 weeks.
Anyway, Scott’s had an action-packed week this week which kicked off with Matt Lucas and David Walliams off of Little Britian coming in to promote various items such as their new dolls, new series, new book etc etc etc. It was Laura and Chappers’ birthday on the Tuesday – it’s a coincidence that both of them were born on the same day of the same month of the same year, isn’t it?
Rate My Listener
Although it was planned for Rate My Listener in the Bath, Rate My Listener Look-A-Likes continued this week. We’ve had everyday people looking like household names such as Abi Titmuss off of men, Phil Mitchell off of EastEnders and even TuPac off of rapping up for rating this week – a much better selection than last week I say! The Little Britain boys popped in on Monday, much to Scott’s disapproval
Friday started with a debate about whether to carry on with Laura’s Diary, with Scott saying he wants to kill it off in the afternoons. Listeners were outraged by this and demanded Scott to keep it on… watch this space! Calls to play the new Lisa Scott-Lee record, Electric, also bombarded Scott but he thinks it’s rubbish, despite Totally Scott Lee on MTV being fantastic.

Today’s Rate My Celeb Look-A-Like was Georgina from Suffolk, a dead-ringer for Avril Lavigne off of singing and often gets mistaken for her. Instalments of Laura’s Diary were played at 7:40 and at 8:40, but today with a special twist. The actual Jamie was in the studio to surprise Laura! Read on to find out more. The big Robbie Williams news was he’s doing a special gig for Radio 1 next week! Look on the BBC Radio 1 homepage for more info, baby.
Right, just before 8:30, Scott debuted a new feature where Scott gets a celebrity to tell someone’s boyfriend/girlfriend that they want to break up. Today, Rosie is sure her boyfriend Phil has been cheating on her and one of his most favourite things in the world is The A Team and Mr.T. It just so happens Scott knows Mr T’s number and rang him up so he can break the news to Phil. Mr T seemed very angry that a lot of disease was being spread through cheating. Phil seemed very confused and hardly spoke a word. He’s now dumped though.

OK! Now, Before 8:30 Scott sent Laura out to buy some orange juice while Jamie was upstairs in the Radio 1 building. At 8:45, Laura came back into the studio and Mary was back on the phone to give us another reading from her diary. This time, Laura scored two goals in hockey and is still unhappy Jamie is going out with someone else. She read in a magazine that she needs to move on and enjoy life.
Scott placed Jamie in a box and got Laura to go over and see what was in the box. She was extremely surprised he was there and he bought her flowers! The last time they saw each other was about 7 years ago! As soon as the show finished, Laura and Jamie went out for a champagne breakfast courtesy of Scott.

Brucie’s Carpark Price is Right
Today’s game was for old prizes such as Iraq’s Most Wanted Playing Cards and the Elvis Air Freshener. Today’s contestants were Vicky and Steve and Vicky won 2-1! Aw well, no more Carpark Price is Right 🙁
After working very very hard on the Chart Show and on mornings over the past few weeks, Scott will take a one week break from afternoon duties and the lovely Vernon Kay is his replacement! Be sure to wake up to Molyes and get home with Vernon next week.
