Hello there! It’s Monday, and Scott’s back from his trip in Blackpool.
Today Scott had the full Glastonbury line-up which includes Kylie, Coldplay, The Coral, The Killers and The Kaiser Chiefs. With these sort of ‘World Exclusives’ it meant that 25% of the show was about this ‘big announcement’. If you didn’t get tickets, there’ll be full coverage on Radio 1. Can’t wait for that…
Scott had a call from someone who was still in Blackpool at just gone 7 o’clock and was hoping to be in Nottingham within 45 minutes for work. Some how I think that’s not going to be possible. But perhaps when he’s sacked he can think back on that great time he had in Blackpool. Eh? Dirty Boy!

Scott's not sure about what happened with his flat mate and the girl. There were lots of bottles of wine around, but Scott gets the feeling it didn’t go too well. And Laura's “boyfriend” couldn't make Blackpool because he couldn’t get time off work… Hmmm, right…
In Blackpool’s popular newspaper, there was a two-page spread of discounts that Radio 1 listeners could get with their Scott Mills badge. One was for a net curtain store called “The Lace Place”. Sadly she didn’t get any takers of the 10% discount. But she said she would accept any Radio 1 listeners until the end of the week. Obviously the lace business isn’t booming in Blackpool…

Scott and the team have bets on what will be the first text when the show starts at 6.55. Normally it’s “when are you on Most Haunted?”. That’ll be next Tuesday by-the-way.

This was one of those late-night collection of clips TV programmes, usually found on five. This programme featured Dr Mark Hamilton of The Sunday Surgery. Something he’d kept quiet was he was one of the first people to appear on a Reality TV programme – ‘The Living Soap’ back in 1993. He wasn’t looking too good back in those days…

Flirt Divert
The scary landline lady was back with her collection of text messages. Her attempts at saying "mmmm" are quite poor. They ended up coming out as out came out as “m-m-m-m-m”. BT really need to teach her a few things clearly! And another message went a little too far telling us about what exactly happened in their dream last night. Today’s listener was James from Bromley. He’s a retail manager of a ladies department for clothing. His dream girlfriend would be Jennifer Ellison and he has Charlie from Fightstar eyebrows. He ended up being rated 52% minging.

Scott played a very strange clip of him on the air on Pleasure Beach FM. Apparently it was "early" and he'd had "a lot to drink the night before". It’s like Wes never left Radio 1…
