G’Mornin! It’s OnlyBluuuddyFriiiday! Scott is halfway through filling in for Chris Moyles and he and the team are off to Blackpool for the weekend. At the start of the week Scott drunkenly agreed to give his flatmate the flat for the weekend to entertain a lady friend. Scott then asked listeners to rent their places out to him but then decided to away with the team for the weekend… to Blackpool. He then invited any Radio 1 listeners to tag along, providing they wore a special badge to distinguish each other.
Even the newspaper has reported on Scott’s trip away, Blackpool today has written an article on the matter. You can find it here. Scott has made the effort going away, getting his hair cut and straightened then going on a sun-bed for 10 minutes!
Laura off the show, after years of solitude and watching Bridget Jones in her flat, has got a boy friend! His name is Dan and she met him in a bar. According to her, he’s “very nice and funny” and “a bit past his best!” One man rang up claiming he felt dejected about Laura getting a boyfriend, but many were happy for her.

More vintage flirt divert answer phone messages with a man asking someone to come around if they're still awake, a mystery actress leaving a message and a woman supposedly falling down a hole from earlier this week. The robotic-text-message-lady read out a few texts about a man/woman leaving a house early and wanting nothing do with him/her, someone driving to Halifax and a Doctor wanting to give someone a full inspection (nudge nudge… wink wink). Maybe it was Dr Fox or Dr Mark Hamilton! The 'Eh? Dirty Boy' catchphrase was also read out by the scary woman, sent in by a girl in Bath.
