Danny’s complaint needed an apology
With Chris away filming at a Lithuanian death-metal festival, Scott called Danny Howard in Croatia.
The fake diva tweet about private jets, lobster and lavender pillows had fooled listeners and even prompted one person to reconsider voting for Danny in a DJ poll.
Danny had eventually explained that Scott and the show had put him up to it. The DJs Complaining account did not share the bait, but it sent a private message accusing Danny of trying too hard.
Caroline revealed a second villa
Caroline Flack called from Majorca, where she spent long periods waiting to be summoned into the Love Island villa.
Eleven new islanders were about to enter, and Caroline revealed that the existing boys and girls would be separated. A second villa would place the boys with five new girls while six new boys met the original girls.
Two men, one moment
Scott had already interviewed an anonymous man who said he was the naked fan acknowledged by Dave Grohl during Foo Fighters’ “My Hero”.
A second anonymous caller now insisted that the televised figure had been him. He remembered being held high above the crowd, completely naked except for a bum bag and a red headband, and said his friends recognised him in photographs.
Scott could no longer decide which man had received Dave Grohl’s attention, so he invited both to return for a direct confrontation.
