Ty worked full-time as an Ed tribute and lookalike and was preparing to travel to Romania for filming shortly after the interview.
The couple met at an open-mic night.
Their wedding leaned fully into the theme, with Ed Sheeran lyrics on cupcakes and a guest list of lookalikes including Gordon Ramsay, the Terminator, Keith Lemon, Captain Jack Sparrow and Prince Harry.
Scott described Ty as one of the most convincing lookalikes he had seen.

Chris from London turned 38 and danced with the LGBT company Rainbow Nation Dance Academy.
The group performed routines and flash mobs at Pride events, including London Pride.
