Demi Lovato admitted she had been difficult
Scott and Chris picked up on a strikingly candid Demi Lovato interview in which she admitted that she had once behaved like a diva, been difficult with assistants and gone through a lot of staff.
Scott liked the honesty and said more famous people should admit when they had behaved badly rather than pretend every stage of their career had gone perfectly.
That immediately led to a dangerous revelation: Scott had his own mental list of celebrities who had been unpleasant to deal with.
He refused to name them, partly because some were still major stars and others had slipped far enough down the celebrity ladder for the disclosure to feel embarrassing. Chris observed that the biggest stars were not necessarily the worst offenders.
Muggy Mike went to panto
The programme also imagined what Love Island’s Mike Thalassitis — still firmly known as “Muggy Mike” — would look like on a pantomime poster.
Scott and Chris decided the nickname already sounded like a villain, complete with a hook hand and shirtless publicity picture, and began announcing his imaginary appearance in Doncaster.
Instagram attention seekers were called out
Scott had also been noticing a particular style of Instagram post: apparently failed handstands, workout photographs and other “accidental” images whose real purpose seemed to be showing off somebody’s body.
The pair started listing the familiar tricks people used when they wanted attention without openly admitting that attention was the point.
