Chris wakes up after the show begins
Listeners noticed Chris had not appeared, and Scott eventually reached him by telephone. Chris had slept through his alarms and woke only because the mobile phone trapped beneath his back had become unusually hot.
He joined remotely in a panic while Scott enjoyed presenting Breakfast with a co-host who was still physically in bed.
The real Dan Reed answers
Megan had met Dan Reed on a bus near Crawley. They sang along to music on his phone and intended to connect on Facebook, but she could not find him.
After more than a hundred people jokingly claimed to be Dan, the show found a candidate who correctly identified the stop where he left and remembered another song from the journey. Dan had waited for Megan’s friend request and assumed she had changed her mind.
Scott added romantic music and asked Dan to make a proper invitation. Megan accepted his offer of a date.
A private investigator tells almost nothing
James, a real private investigator, joined Real or No Real. He mostly followed people whose partners suspected them of cheating and confirmed that infidelity did not follow office hours.
He refused every attempt to identify celebrity clients or subjects, leaving Scott and Chris fascinated by surveillance and eager to speak to him again.
