Nicole Scherzinger talks solo music and Formula One
Scott opened by admitting that his new shower gel was endorsed by Usher. Chris thought that was an unnecessarily awkward fact to reveal, but listeners were soon confessing to their own celebrity fragrances.
Chris was still searching for a job through a website where people offered odd services for five pounds. His attempts at a cartoon voice and at recommending films did little to prove that he had found a viable career.
The pair also discovered a teenage pop-video company and Scott immediately announced his own rival label, S-Hits. Gemma from the office was recruited as its reluctant first signing.
Nicole Scherzinger arrived to promote Don’t Hold Your Breath and her album Killer Love. She spoke about the many television appearances filling her UK visit and about enjoying the chance to launch her solo work.
Scott asked how she and Lewis Hamilton made a relationship work around two relentless schedules. Nicole said it was genuinely a matter of comparing where each of them would be and trying to meet in the same country, before Scott also introduced her to his important new ambition: having a full roast dinner in the bath.
